It can't be the weather

LA has been a shooting gallery lately. There was a freeway shooting earlier this week. Today there was a couple shootings 20 minutes apart. There has just been a lot of shootings on the news. I don't know what the cause can be, the weather isn't super hot.

I need to clean my apartment badly. I should have done it over the weekend but I was pretty lazy. It gotten to the point where it is a sea of empty cans and bottles at my video workstation. If it wasn't so dirty I would probably get more video stuff done. I have a bunch of stuff I could end up uploading to UCBComedy.com.

I watched the end of the Deal Or No Deal that they hyped this week. No million dollars, pretty boring. There seems to be no TV worth watching.

There is a possibility of a trucker strike tomorrow. Not an April Fool joke. The truckers are fed up with the cost of rising gas prices and they have been toting a three day strike that might occur tomorrow. I would support a strike like that if it would lower gas prices. I wonder if there could ever be a work stoppage in California is we decided not to drive to work for three days. I don't think my employer would understand.

Tomorrow is April Fools Day and I don't know or can't say what I have planned yet. There are so many good pranks that people often fall for because they forget about the date.

I think tomorrow I am going to head to Tuesday Night Thunder (T.N.T.). It is a free night of improv up in Hollywood. I haven't been up there and I have been planning on it for a while. I think Billy and a couple pals are going to perform a show called Soundtrack, a show inspired from Mother out in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York.

Sunday afternoon, April 6th at 4:30 PM, I perform at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Hollywood. My group and I will be performing a One-Act form of improv. It is an improvised play and should be entertaining and funny. Feel free to come and invite other. After the show, we will be heading to Birds for some food and drinks.

It might not be a concern

I woke this morning to an email from a wireless carrier I do not use, saying here is your temporary password for a phone number ending in 1817, or something like that. First I check the email to see that it was legit and not a phishing email. It was official. I decided to call the phone carrier and report the email and see if there was a reason for concern. The first phone call was to the customer service and the woman said that there was nothing they could do and I should visit one of their stores. Am I that simple that I think a sales clerk is going to be more capable than the people on the phone? She finally gave me the number for customer fraud. I called the number and wouldn't you know that they are only open from 9-5 Monday - Friday. This shows I guess, if you want to commit a wireless phone crime, do it on the weekend.

I am pretty embarrassed of what I just did. I paid for Tim and Eric tickets on eBay. Paying almost three times the price. The show is over a month away and when I checked on Ticketweb, the May 5th show was sold out and they added another show on the 6th. Jimmy already has tickets for the 5th so I needed tickets for that day. I looked on Craigslist thinking that there might be some tickets there and I found a post advertising an eBay auction. I went to eBay and that particular auction wasn't there but there were two others. The shipping alone is $10. The user had other good ratings so I think the tickets will be good.

Tonight is Wrestlemania on pay per view but I didn't order it. First of all it is $65 for the program and it's not in HD as far as I know. Secondly I probably couldn't record it to my DVR, I would have to record it on my computer in the other room. Lastly, wrestling is best when watching it with someone else. I have always said that it would be awesome if some local bar would play the PPVs. I would probably make the bar some money if there was wrestling on, I would drink a whole lot.

I have to sign off, Family Guy is making me giggle.

Unbelievable luck

Last night after work I got home and I had great timing because Jimmy was there at the same time. We headed off to this Code Trip party in Santa Monica at the Red Bull Headquarters. When we got there, the crowd was light but there was music and the bar was open. For the first two hours we drank and we were social. A co-worker of mine showed up with his girlfriend as well as this annoying recruiter kid Nico from the 2600 group.

After two hours of drinking, Jimmy was pretty anti-Microsoft toward the Code Trip people and not making too may friends. This happened with the Red Bull people too. He told them how he was a Rock Star drinker. They had a Silverlight demo and it was like a Flash demo. Then they had a raffle and fate or luck had its way and Jimmy won the Xbox that they gave away as the first prize. We left and got some Taco Bell then watched a bunch of Free Radio.

Today I had my improv workshop. On the way there I was travelling up Fairfax and the traffic was pretty heavy. I was just sitting in stooped traffic when a black Mercedes SLK (License Plate 1VC114), slammed into me. I was shook up and I pulled the car to the curb for a minute. I took a look and my car didn't look like real damage, so I waved him off. I drove to improv and my shoulder hurt a little but I think I am OK.

Improv was a smaller group that I was used to and there was only 12 of us and it worked out just fine. I think I had some good stuff today but the format we are doing doesn't have the huge comedy punch that I think some other performances I have had it the past. Of course we are working on the structure and not making strong game yet. I did see the girl I kinda dig in my group and I still do not know if she is seeing anyone. I did see her check me out but that could have been my Scrubs-like imagination when I am in public.

I got home and ate some Jack-In-Th-Box. I don't have anything planned for tonight. I finished the film American Buffalo. It isn't Dustin Hoffman's best film but I was watching it for its Mammet writing. My next film is The Lakeboat and I have Edmond. I was told many times that Edmond is so horrible but its one of those things I need to watch for my benefit. I am sitting here planning on watching Saturday Night Live but I don't know how long I will last.

I also watched my friend Charlie Todd's Food Court Musical (http://improveverywhere.com/2008/03/09/food-court-musical/). It is very funny. It feels edited for TV but still funny. I saw a couple of people I recognize in the video, Charlie too. I sent him an email through facebook and he responded and told me there was a new website dedicated for the UCBW at http://ucbw.info.

Friday is my favorite

We made it, we made it to the end of the week. There are a lot of things going on this weekend also. The movie 21 comes out in theaters today, Judah Friedlander is in the movie Chapter 27, premiering at the Angelika in NYC. I am planning on going to Redbull in Santa Monica for a geeky programmers party, it has an open bar I was told.

TV is trying to annoy me. I got stuck watching Deal Or No Deal. I don't know why we haven't seen someone with the million dollar prize yet. After that I watched the two hour finale of Celebrity Apprentice. I have to say that two hours was way long. It seemed that they could have rapped things up in an hour. If you didn't see it, too bad, Pierce wins. He raised mega amounts of money and didn't end up singing a country song. Don't get me wrong, I feel for him and his daughter with the severe food allergy but Crazysage has severe food allergies and she doesn't need a benefit to help her have a better life. The soldiers needed it more.

I just had lunch with two of my coworkers. We decided to go to I-Hop. I got the taster special and I was mega happy but when we got the bill, everyone just threw in money without counting it. When we got to the door and exited, we got stopped by the management. We didn't pay enough for out small $28.00 bill. How embarrassing.

Tomorrow is time to get back to improv. I haven't been imrpoving for three weeks I think. I hope I still can get into it. I hope I am not hung over too. We will see what happens, Jimmy is picking me up in three hours.

Damn you facebook, you are making me join a 12 step.

I didn't like facebook in the beginning. They won't me use my name tommEE pickles. Not because the name tommEE but for the name pickles. There are a bunch of people with the last name pickles, check imdb. Why would they think it was illegitimate. They also confused me with the interface, not being so easy to navigate and add friends. Now theu have added a bunch of things that make me check it more than once a day. Lately it has been Scrabulous and Scramble with a a little bit of Elimidate.

Last night I couldn't find the Chinese food and I ended up going to CPK (California Pizza Kitchen). I walked about 30 blocks looking for food but didn't find anything. I did stop into the Barnes and Noble and looked at some books and magazines but didn't find anything. I did think ok some friends and left some annoyingly long messages on their voicemails. Walking home I passed by the independent movie theater but I didn't see any documentary movies.

Today, the work day was ok. I ended up getting some things done. One thing that ended up making me laugh was one of the programmers was trying to setup one of the systems for a radio station. For some reason after installing operating system after operating system, he couldn't get the audio card found by the driver. Eight hours later, I asked him to take the card out of the slot and move it over one and see if the operating system detects any change. He looked at me and asked in not so many words "What card?". We all laughed a bunch. He didn't know that the software driver couldn't work without the card. He never opened up a computer before. It was shocking.

I am itching for another Fry's experience. I have the need to by something fun. I still haven't tried Windows 2008 and I also need to fix my media center. I should also get another Harmony remote since mine is pretty beat. We shall see, Friday is usually a good day for Fry's.

Bad weather, bad work day, hope its not bad food too

I am walking to find some local Chinese food. I have Panda Express and PF Changs around me but I want some white container type of Chinese food.

Today there are a lot of retard drivers. Its been making me nuts. I was in such a rush to do things and there was someone always in my way. This is why Californians live out here, because it is slow. Don't get me wrong, I like the Jimmy Buffett but not on a work day. There seems to be so many tourists about. You can tell how they walk and what they look at. I wish they would leave for a couple weeks.

The workday was pretty louse. A coworker raised his voice at me and it felt like he was challenging me. It got up to a point where he was telling me my job, and he wasn't correct. I didn't raise my voice and I didn't throw casino chips at him. I just told him I was going to help someone out and if he wanted to continue to yell at me, I would be standing over on the other side of room. He eventually apologized.

I can't find the Chinese food so I might get something else. Maybe something from the Promenade. I walked past a library, I had not even been in a library for 20 years. I saw the computers they have but what shocked me s they have a DVD section. I don't know what they lend, maybe I could get Beaches there.

Last night Hey Uncle Gary was good. Casey Wilson wasn't there but Billy and Will and the rest were funny. On the way out of the theater, I saw Brian Poeshen in the theater lobby. I wanted to say hi or even do a celebrity phone pic attack but he is mega tall and it felt uncool to do it then.

I just looked and I forgot my sisters birthday. Jean Marie, if you read this, I am sorry and I hope your birthday was a blast and you got a baby sitter for my niece and nephew.

I think tomorrow HDnet Movies is playing Flawless for free, be sure to check it out. This weekend is the opening of 21 and since I am a Vegas addict, I want to see it. Well, wish me luck on the food hunt and maybe I will find something good on the tube.

Back in the saddle again.

I felt out of sorts coming to work. I thought it was the weekend but I forgot that I had been working downtown all week that I had not been in the Miracle Mile district in a while.

One of my coworkers was telling me about a casting director meeting next month. Its for a monologue in front of five casting directors to help you climb up the ladder. I guess I should get new headshots done so I don't have to photocopy my face like in The Secret Of My Success.

I plan on seeing Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since I had not seen some live improv in a while. I really should go home instead since I am on Defcon 5 with my laundry but I probably would have gone home and pass out if I didn't go out first. Billy Merrit's group 'Hey, Uncle Gary' is performing and They are funny. Casey Wilson is also in the group with him and she is a bright and funny girl, not to mention a cutie to boot. No wonder she got on the the SNL.

Speaking of television media, I saw that Hulu (http://www.hulu.com) has been opened to the public. It has a boat-load of television shows and movie titles and seems to be growing. It is free and only shows a few commercials as far as I can tell. I watched a little of Requiem For A Dream, Man In The Moon and an episode of The Office.

The Pinnacle HD PCTV togo box that I got is working great for watching HD stuff in my bedroom but I can't seem to get it to work in the office. I can get my Slingbox to work either. I would like to ask for the firewall to be open but I know that they won't.

Lastly I should give Crazysage a call. I thought of her last night because I stopped into her old 7 Eleven when I was on my way to Del Taco. She used to be in the 7 Elevens so much, she knew all the staff. She even had them let me use the bathroom. I think that is against 7 Eleven law. Long live the rule breakers.

No more lazy days for a while

I sat around all weekend. I didn't really do anything special. I slept a hell of a lot. I played a lot of online poker but not well. Right now I am sitting in front of the computer watching The Graduate. I do have to confess I have never watched it. Maybe I might have seen a part or two of it, but I never had sat and watched it from the beginning. It has surprised me. I am enjoying it very much.

Living at the beach is a pain these days. Tourists are everywhere. It's not so bad when you are walking around but when I try to drive my car anywhere, it is impossible to get to where you want to go. Not that I am complaining too much about it but the ocean is getting stinky also. It's nice once in a while but not you drive out for Del Taco and it kills the smell of Mexican Fast Food Heaven.

I think I might have some time off coming to me. I have been working six months without a vacation and I know I have to make it out to NY for work also. I don't know where I will stay out in NY if I do come out soon. I love staying in a nice hotel but unfortunately it is very expensive for just vacationing for a week. I believe Vicki wouldn't have an issue if I crashed on her couch. I know I could also ask Alaina for space on her couch too. I could always just email everyone I know in the city but I hate to make people think I was looking for the best accommodations than just wanting to spend time with a particular friend.

Things that I need to keep in mind when I plan on going out east are that NAB is around the corner and as well as Richard Cheese. I wouldn't want to miss either one of those events. April 6th and May 5th I am performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade in LA too. I am going to have to open up my Outlook calender and see what is happening in the weeks coming up before I start making plans.

Lastly I saw that Amy Sedaris is in a Microsoft Office commercial (online). She is very entertaining in the video and the commercial shows the product in good light but I don't know why there are rabbits cooking and running a bakery with her. Maybe I need to find a pot dealer again.

Not a witness protection thing

I haven't been in hiding or anything, just working very hard. I thought about blogging but I have just been tired. Let me just update what has been going on.

Last weekend started completely crazy. Friday night, I was driving in and Jamiegrrrl was texting me to see what was going on. I told her I was still on my way but when I got there just before 2:00 am, I called and she was no where to be found.

I checked into my free room and put my stuff down and headed right to the bar to start things off. After have two drinks, I went to play some craps. I went to the busy table and didn't do well at all. I decided to take a breather and the I saw the other craps table only had one guy shooting. I figured my luck wasn't so good at my first table, I would try my luck here. I placed my pass bet and the guy hit a 6. I placed full odds and sure enough, the guy hit the number.

After I got paid and I ordered a drink, a drunk Hispanic young adult stood right next to me, practically on me. He also was standing in front of my chips. I asked him if he could move, he just looked at me. I thought it was a joke because the table was empty, there was plenty of space. It escalated to a louder tone where I was getting miffed he wasn't moving. When he finally moved, I said under my breath "Asshole". He heard that. He turned to me and said "what?", I said "I wasn't talking to you."

While all of this was going on, some guy about 43 years old, wearing a blazer, threw down $300 a.d said Eleven. He then walked to the bathroom. The dealers didn't know what to make of it so they didn't play the money and it was good because he didn't hit the 11. The guy came back and it was my turn to shoot, he told the dealers he wanted 11 and now the pressure was on. I threw the dice and sure enough, I hit 11. Now 11, pays 15 to 1. That was a good hit. What I didn't know is that he bet a three-way 11. He was betting for himself, the dealers and me. The dealers were sliding me a stack of 15 black chips, $1500 for just throwing the dice at this empty table. I tried to do it again because I still had his $100 bet for me but it didn't happen.

The guy who bet the $100 for me was getting hassled. He came over to me and asked if I wanted to get out of there and head to Mandalay. He said his limo was right outside. So he, two girls, his driver and me headed out front where there was his limo parked. I didn't really know if it was his limo or not but I liked this guys style. Apparently he was mega-rich and I found out that he was the CEO of a large company (I am not naming it here since I believe in privacy).

We got to Mandalay and parked the limo out front. When we got to the bar, the bartender wasn't paying attention to us. He finally came over and we ordered four drinks and the guy handed the bartender a $100 bill and told him to keep the change. He asked if I wanted to play some blackjack. I told him I wasn't a good player, especially after a couple drinks. I told him I would catch up with him after playing some craps.

I got my butt handed to me instead of chips at the craps table. I decided to go find my pal at the blackjack tables. When I found him he was playing $5,000 a hand at the table. He tried playing more than one hand but they stopped him at two. He made another friend at the blackjack table and he announce to us that we were going to head to the Rhino. By this he meant the Spearmint Rhino.

We got back in the limo and he called ahead to the club to see if his favorite girls were working. They told him over the phone to pull in the back and they would let us come in that way. It was about 6:00 am. When we got to the club went went in the back and they set up a table for the four of us. I then saw them bring Frank (the rich guy) a black leather doctors-like bag. Inside was stacks of crisp clean dollar bills. This guy Frank was throwing in the air over the stage $100 at a time in singles. It rained money over and over again. Other guys were probably not happy since we stole the show. We had girls all over us. I had this girl lap dancing for me but I was so drunk that I wasn't into it as much as watching the other girls. After a while I told her to get off of me and she didn't want to since she knew that the money was flowing. I slapped her a $100 and told her to give me some space. About this time I saw Frank and the rest of the posse going to split. I decided to catch my own ride back to the hotel.

The next day, I didn't feel like doing anything because it is hard to top the excitement of the night before. I had a slot tournament to register for at 11:00 am. The line was huge. Every woman over 40 was in this line. I get kind of horny when I am hungover also. I was looking at the MILFs in line and it wasn't a good scene, especially if I looked like I felt. I was due to play in the tournament at 3:30 pm and then Sunday at 2:30 pm. Two chances to win the Dodge Avenger but I came up with a low score the first round.

I called my friends but no such luck. Evil Matt was in Los Angeles and Jamiegrrrl and Bink were nowhere to be found. I didn't feel like venturing out to the Double Down or the Dive Bar. I had the tournament the next day and I just didn't feel up to partying like Amy Winehouse.

The next day I played in the second round of the tournament and did just as bad as the first round. It wasn't going anywhere by staying any longer. I went through my winnings and some of my allowance. I left. I saw that they had started tearing down the Klondike, a casino we went to my 2nd Birthdaycon I think. I saw then also tearing some stuff down at Nevada Landing. I stopped in Terribles at Stateline when I got that far and I played a couple of slots. I got home about 11:00 pm.

This week has been mostly made of work. I did receive a new toy in the mail that I hooked up today. It's a Pinnacle HD PCTV to go. It's like a Slingbox for HD. I already have a Slingbox but this was only $70 and it lets me watch the HD from the living room while in my bedroom. So now it's like two televisions in my bedroom.

I went out with Sqweak on St. Patricks Day for a beer at the King's Head. The bar was super crowded even though it's an English pub, not irish. We would have stayed longer but I was tired and the line for a Guiness was unbearable. It was nice being able to tell Sqweak about my Vegas stories.

Last night I hung out for a couple drinks with Chris N. and a bunch of his pals. It wasn't a long night. I had to get up today for a conference call at 1:00 pm and I didn't feel very energetic.

I watched the AVN Awards Show on Showtime. It made me upset that I slept through the AVN experience this year. It was entertaining to watch it. Some hot girls. Some girls so proud how they can take it up the ass on camera. It's an interesting group of people. I don't think I could date a porn star. Strippers I have, they are different. She just wanted money, it didn't matter how good or bad we had sex.

Today feels like a Sunday since I haven't done anything. I am liking the slow pace. Next Saturday I get back on the improv trail again. I was tempted to head into Vegas but I have laundry to do and my place is messy. I was hoping for some time with Jimmy, doing video and writing but he didn't get a hold of me. I am feeling I might hunt down some Del Taco later. Excitement abound.

I bet you'll be back, Joe Francis

Not the first time Joe Francis has been in jail and I bet it won't be his last. I don't think it will affect his business either way. I won't buy his videos and I think he is a bottom feeder but the masses of retard out there, especially frat boys, will keep him in business for a while.

I had a nice surprise when I got home. I popped on the boob tube and I saw that Glengary Glen Ross was on HDNet Movies. A movie that I wanted to watch and in HD. I have it on my Netflix to come tomorrow but I don't mind, I need it for my collection.

I have been hooked on Scramble and Scrabulous on Facebook lately. I have been really addicted. If you play, challenge me. Its a fun game and its not annoying like the poker games.

I stopped at Rite Aid today and purchased one of those single use video cameras. I bought it because I saw the instructions on how to make it re-usable and it was right in front of me. I am going to stop into Frys over the weekend and see if I can get parts for a cable before I end up ebaying one. Its not a bad camera. It holds about 20 minutes of video and its better than cell phone video. When I get it running I might use it a video blogging tool.

I tried out my Airlink Ethernet camera in my house today. Its pretty cool but I don't want to route Ethernet cables and power. Having a security camera up is fun but not if its ugly and attracts attention.

LOST was on tonight and got me confused again. It was a Sun and Jin episode. Confusing that Michael (Walt's Father) is on the ship that is owned by Charles Widmore. Sun has the baby, in foreshadowing and Jin in running to the hospital. You think he is running the for Sun but he is shown visiting another room for work relations. Sun has the baby but Jin is supposedly dead. Hurley visits Sun in Korea and they visit Jins grave. They didn't update Locke's camp situation. Weird ship things and nothing solved.

Tomorrow I am supposed to head to Vegas, I have not packed yet. Apparently Flogging Molly is playing this weekend and I don't know if I am going or not. I should be getting in late tomorrow and I have to register for the tournament at 11am on Saturday.

I should myspace my Vegas pals and the Sallys as well and tell them I am heading in tomorrow. I should get my car washed and remember to get some new MP3s on the iPod for the ride.

Fair is fair! I want my $608

I had the pleasure of watching Helen Slater in the Legend of Billy Jean. Nothing like stepping into that movie time machine. Now I won't get that Pat Benatar song out of my head.

I was being a little technical and geeky today. One of my projects was testing out flash and Silverlite on my phone. I found out that Youtube is not using flash for its mobile site. Its actually using 3gp videos, actually video istead of flash streams. This would be great except that they are streaming these files through rtsp instead of http. This doesn't work with every phone, like my T Mobile Wing. I did find out it workd with the T Mobile Dash but I am not planning on giving up my phone.

There was a limited amount of watchable TV tonight and I chose to try Moment of Truth on FOX. It was pretty painful, there were more commercials than I have ever seen before and after every break it replayed the last question in its entirety. The show felt like it dragged so much. They aren't really topping themselves with the questions either. This show is a definite one season show, not going to be renewed.

I watched a movie trailers show and you can tell the summer flicks are on their way, the trailers are getting better. I am interested to see "21", it comes out in two weeks. In relation to that, I wouldn't mind seeing What Happens In Vegas even though it's an Aston Cutcher time waster. A film that hit my list is Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Its got some funny people in it like Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, and Jonah Hill. Run Fat Boy Run could be funny too.

Sometimes, I wish I was back in New York. Next weekend is UCBW WrestleSlamMania III on Sat. March 22nd at Midnight. Although it is also National Corndog Day too, the site is located at http://www.corndogday.com/ and its funny to see all the parties going on. I am not really a corndog fan but I think it could end up being a experience I shouldn't miss. The comedy in it alone will probably increase in value like a plate from the Franklin Mint.

Tomorrow I need to start work an hour and half early and I am not excited about it. On the flip side, I will be heading to Vegas the next day. Nothing like seeing my Vegas pals and possibly adding to my tax shelter.

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

Spitzer should have gone to Vegas, not D.C.

Vegas is the place for discreet prostitutes, nuff' said. Today is a beautiful day out side and I am not too thrilled spending it indoors. Work had been an uphill climb with all the stuff needing to be completed.

I have been becoming closer with my computer lately, thing about new projects I would like to complete. I started looking into mini-itx boards again. I am thinking about upgrading the computer I use for a media center. My coworker suggested going to Dell's factory outlet and check those units out. The computer I need for the media center would probably only run about $240 and that is about what I would probably invest trying to upgrade my current setup.

Lastly to wrap up, I saw that the Houston Chronicle has a story that 1 in 4 girls has a sex disease. Also stating that nearly half of the black while only 20 percent of the white and Mexican American females. The most common is HPV. Have a nice SXSW party.

Ug my clumsiness

I brought home some Jack In The Box today when I got out of work. I was watching TV on the couch and I ended up falling asleep. It led me to knocking over my soda all over the carpet leaving a stain. For my punishment I am now watching a Yahoo Serious movie.

Tomorrow starts a new season of Human Giant which should aleve more of the television boredom. I have noticed there are not anymore 10 Items Or Less in the next couple weeks. I don't know it the Ren Fair was their season ender.

I have been running through my head about moving back to New York. I have been in LA for six months now and I know eventually work wants me back in New York. I don't think I am on any sort of time table but I know I would like it to correspond to the competition of my lease out here.

Gas prices are driving me crazy, no pun intended. The cheapest Premium gas I can find is around $3.70. I drive to Las Vegas so often it adds up to a fortune. I think I am going to be in Las Vegas this weekend and the weekend following. After all that, I think I am going to rest my bum for a bit. Possibly save some money.

Well good thing there is some repeats of the Office tomorrow. The two episodes are Women's Appreciation where Dwight goes after a flasher and the pilot episode of The Office (USA). Then at 11pm Rob, Paul and Aziz in Human Giant on MTV

Must be the equinox but I feel awesome

Well I have been a little active bit I am feeling so great. Let me catch you up with what I have been doing.

Thursday evening was a new episode of LOST and it wasn't really that good of an episode. It was a little confusing and I felt short sheeted. The showed who owned the boat, the newcomers are hostile and not hostile by knocking out Kate but disabling the poisonous gas station. The person on the boat is somebody that we will be shocked about and Jack finally kissed Juliet. Next week should be a good cliff hanger for the next four weeks of no new episodes.

Friday night I drove over to Jimmy's house to hang out. We ended up writing stuff for a sketch. We debated back and forth who to include for extras and talent. Jimmy would like to keep it a small group but I fear for the vision of the idea. I suggested putting a post on Craigslist or Improv Resource Center. He feels its not worth the trouble. We will see what happens in the upcoming weeks.

Saturday I had my new improv workshop with Billy Merrit. I know two people in the workshop that I have worked with before, Paris and Clay. Clay is a cool guy and he does have some good talent. It was weird with Paris though, she is really not friendly towards me and I have had her in three of my workshops. Maybe we just rub each other weird.

After improv I drove over Jimmy's house and got some Del Taco. We watched a little Tim and Eric before heading to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. We had plans to go see Match Game. Traffic sucked and luckily the valet still had room because we felt we were late. We stood in line for about an hour but it wasn't terrible. I saw that Monica was volunteering at the theater, she commented how we were in the same workshop together.

The show was great. The panel consisted of Oscar Nunez, Matt Walsh, Paul F. Tompkins, Andy Daly, Danielle Koenig and Scott Aukerman. The girl contestant won $50. Paul kissed a random girl coming back from the bathroom and it was quite a musical show.

Today I slept a bunch and it felt great. I did some computer stuff, re-arranged my Netflix queue and cleaned up my apartment. Must have been the spring equinox making me want to clean. I have some DVDs I haven't watched so I put in Transformers. I didn't like it so much. It started out being super sci-fi and advanced but then the Autobots and Decepticons started talking. Not just talking but different dialects. It was like a scifi movie just turned into the cartoon. Shia Labouf is talented but didn't help this movie for me.

I also saw Disturbia today also. It was a good thriller but I think it went a little longer than it should have. Shia was in this movie as well but he really had a good character role. It kept me watching, so it is good enough to catch on the HBO.

I received a call from Jamiegrrrl in the afternoon and it was nice surprise. I apologized for spoiling the Project Runway ending for her. She asked whether or not I would be in Las Vegas this upcoming weekend. I told her I was pretty sure I was. I have a slot tournament to play this weekend for the chance to win a Dodge Charger.

It must be nerd and geek month also. I saw that MTV had a Beauty and the Geek mararthon. It is video gaming month from what I have been hearing. There is also a Revenge of the Nerds triple feature on HBO2.

ABC Thursday is the new "Must See TV"

I am referring to LOST being on tonight. I am excited. It is had to top the finale of Project Runway last night but I am sure it will keep me glued to the TV.

Last night I, of course, was watching the Project Runway finale. I enjoyed all the designers fashions and it was a great show from Bryant Park. It was funny to see Christian start weeping when it was just him and Rami on the runway. The only thing I think was missing was Chris March. I didn't see him in the crowd at all. It would have been even better to see all the designs Chris would have had through the show.

Today I woke up late, not terribly late but late. I had a meeting at 10:00am which I had to take in the car on the phone. At least I made it. Today was kind of stressful but I got through it. I also finally heard from Jimmy and we should be getting together on Saturday. We will be writing scripts and going to see Match Game at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.

Another funny thing today I got a text message, I think it was from Jamiegrrrl. The text message said "I cant believe you spoiled the Project Runway finale! This means war". I didn't know that anyone reads my blog and I spoil information. I figured anyone would have seen it last night. I do feel a little bad since I didn't know the final three were until I saw it with Jamiegrrrl. She didn't spoil it for me either.

I just got my laundry in the wash and LOST has started on the DVR. Tomorrow is Friday, it seems everything is coming up roses. I have me some Keebler Fudge Stripes and some milk, I am excited. I have absolutely nothing planned for Friday. I do have my new improv workshop on Saturday and I am pretty excited to see some old faces.

Tomorrow there is new Free Radio also.

If not Chris, then it better be...

Congratulations Christian! It was indeed a great show you put on. He really does have talent for creative fashions. When I was looking for a job in New York, I actually interviewed at Bluefly.com and didn't know what they did until I got there. It would have been fun to work there and have the possibility to meet Christian.

Speaking about gay fashionable people, its been forever since I have spoken with Danny Leary or his boyfriend Jeremy. I think I will drop them a line tomorrow before I settle down with some LOST.

Wow, I really have nothing else on my mind.

Hillary won Ohio?

Why is this such a close race? I don't want to say Hillary is bad but what is a woman who forgives a cheating husband going to do with a super power of a country? Although, I am sure I could complain about all the running others.

I did my credit report today and I thinking its ok. It needs a little improvement and I want to buy a house after I move again. I am going to use a credit repair service that one of my coworkers referred to me. My coworker seems to think that I can get a really good score by the time I am due to move.

I forgot to post that I thought about Rebecca this weekend. I seem to forget how lucky I was to have a chance encounter meeting her in Ballys and effort she put in to stay with me thought out the time we dated. I know she was pregnant, I wonder if she had the baby by now. I should mail her to check. I hope everything is good.

Tonight I went to dinner with Sqweak and Mags. It was nice to hang out with them tonight. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen instead of Houston's. It was good, although the spinach and artichoke dip is better at Houston's. We got to chat about LOST, Project Runway and 30 Rock.

To end the night I watched 10 Items Or Less . There is nothing else that interests me on the tube tonight. Tomorrow is the finale of Project Runway. Thursday, of course, is LOST. Friday there are things to watch but I have been trying to get a hold of Jimmy to catch Match Game this week. Lastly, on Saturday I start a new improv workshop with Billy Merrit.

Welcome back to the work week

Yep it is back to the grind stone and back to improv.

Yesterday was another great day. I awoke with out a huge hangover. My remedy, just flood your body with water. At the tables, I would always have a bottle of water handy as well as a stiff drink. I was handling myself like a professional alcoholic. I was going to hang out with Jamiegrrrl but Evil Matt called me just as I was texting Jamiegrrrl. Evil Matt and I headed to Silverton and it was dead. Even the craps table only had one person shooting.

We headed to some slots and played there for a while. I actually didn't lose any money and came out even a little ahead. We decided to try our luck at the craps table. It was just three of us at the table and it wasn't going well. I was ready to throw in the towel when I burned through my first $100. Matt still had some money so I decided to go in for another $100. When I got a hold of the dice, magic happened and I hit five points before seven'ing out. After Matt rolled, we decided to cash out and we both came out ahead.

I got back to the hotel and I was tired and ended up going to sleep.

In the early afternoon, I checked out and called Jamiegrrrl. We both needed food, so I stopped for some Jack in the Box and headed over. We ended up watching Project Runway all afternoon. It was good because I haven't watched Project Runway in weeks. I am disappointed that Chris March lost to Rami. Chris definitely had better fashion but I think the human hair freaked the judges. So I saw now the last three are and I am voting for Christian.

So now I have something to watch on Wednesday this week.

Where's the lion?

In like lion, out like a lamb? The weather is beautiful here in Vegas. I got in last night about 1:00 AM and checked into the hotel, an ok room. I threw my belongings down and went right back downstairs and sat at the bar for some video poker. I asked for an Absolut and 7UP, the bartender told me that it wouldn't be comped and I would have to pay for it. I chose to drink well. Right after I got my cheap I got four aces and cashed out $100.

I took my $100 and went to the Price Is Right Cliffhanger game. I hit a bunch of bonus games with max bet and I walked away from the machine with $400. All this started with just $20 in just less than an hour.

I decided it was time to play craps and I think I went another $100 up. I then met a very pretty and petite lady and <censored>. I won't tell the story here. Her name is Raylene and I will be seeing her again.

I woke up today with a very minimal hangover and went out for some Burger King. I left a myspace message for Jamiegrrrl since I haven't heard from her or Bink lately. I also haven't heard from Evil Matt, I hope to catch up with him this weekend since I haven't seen him in three months. Tonight I might do Silverton with Evil Matt or I will end up at Double Down or Dive Bar.
