Oh crap I need my fix

Sorry its been a long time for updates. I have been mentally unstable the last couple of days due to frustrations with work and other items. I am OK, I mean I am not as bad as Britney but wow I think we would make a good team for One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest part II.

I did get a little taste of my fix last night with the replay of the season finale of LOST. The only thing that was weird was the strange text narrative at the bottom of the screen. It was in an annoying conversational tone instead of a Popup Video thing. I can't say it wasn't useful because there were a couple of things I did forget. Heck, it has been off the air for like 9 or 10 months, right? Anyway tonight is the start of season four and I am excited like a 12 year old school girl, she tells me what excitement feels like. There are still questions I need answered, like what is with the monster? We haven't seen much of him/her lately? Is Mikahl still alive? Did he die in the hand grenade blast? Why is Hurley still overweight?

Now knowing there is only eight episodes planned, I know my fix is limited. I don't know what I will do when it's over. Will it end for good after eight episodes or will they cliff hang us again? I plan on buying the DVD's but I really want the blueray DVDs because I would like to see all the detail of the crap I am not seeing. Maybe I would even see information like the name John Latham which is on the obituary that Jack holds in his pocket. Who the hell is that guy and why is he in the coffin? Ug!

The weekend has come up on my fast this week and I am excited but I have nothing planned at all. I have my improv group on Saturday but I do have Friday and Saturday evenings free. I haven't spent time with Jimmy in a while. So that could be fun. We need to catch up on video stuff. I also have a lot of cleaning to do so that we can setup the green screen. We need to play.

Tonight I plan on having dinner with Sqweak and Mags. I hope we can have it before LOST goes on because it might be hard to get me from the TV tonight.

Just the tip, I wanna know how it feels

I got back from Deaddoll's and Ciritas' apartment last night. It was a hell of a time. I got to see Bradley, Dave, Donovan, Zaira, as well as meet some new people like Dan and Holly. I didn't know Deaddoll was dating anyone but that is how I met Dan. First impression I had was what is Deaddoll thinking dating the guy from Mythbusters. After meeting him he was actually cool and had a great sense of humor. Good going Deaddoll. Holly was cute but I have a feeling even though we have stuff in common and live close, I don't think she is interested in me.

Work was tough because the weekend dragged the energy out of me. One cool thing is that I got me some business cards I ordered months ago. The bad part is now I am moving into offices across the street and now the phone number and address are different.

I didn't see Danny Bonaduce today in my new office. Dennis told me I should not get in a fight with him and showed me the Johnny Fairplay video where Fairplay gets injured on a TV show, ouch.

Tonight is Office/30 Rock night. Both are repeats and then we are bummed with American Gladiators. I guy its a great night to catch up with DVDs and sound sleep. Tomorrow is 10 Items or Less and some more Office repeats. Wednesday we catch up with a repeat of LOST and then Thursday we are back with a new episode of LOST.

Media Junkie

Last night in the movies, they showed a LOST trailer. When it first came on, someone in the audience went "Whoo!". I cannot wait to see it on Thursday but I cannot tell if I missed any clues last night since I didn't have my Tivo remote.

There is also a movie called 21 coming out from Sony Pictures. Its got Kevin Spacey, Laurence Fishburne and Jim Sturgess. It is about card counting MIT students and Vegas, it looks awesome. It will come out March 28th.

Let me start by saying Cloverfield was awesome. Congrats to T.J. Miller, that was a hell of a part to land and it was executed beautifully. I enjoyed the movie a bunch. *Spoiler Alert* The movie opens up like a found mini DV tape and just starts playing. The characters played pretty real from the intro to the party and interactions that happen at a party. The only thing that started to become weird was even at a party, was the constant video taping. There was no way around it though. When the tragic event happened to the city, it definitely had a September 11th kind of feel to it. It felt very authentic. That being said, the main monster was a little stretch of the imagination. When they finally showed the little baby monsters, it was better. I do have to say they the character Marlena did remind me of Liz but I think it was the hair and figure more than the bleeding from the eyes and then exploding. The movie ends pretty abruptly and the is no music, like an independent movie. It is a great movie altogether.

I caught 1 vs 100 because it was the Smartest Man Edition. He has a higher IQ than Einstein but the guy didn't know something iconic like the Who's on First routine from Abbott and Costello. The only time he appeared to win was when he asked for help. When he one without help, he would only knock out one or two people from the mob. Shows you, an IQ will get you into college but street knowledge might deliver you a $1,000,000 from Bob Saget.

After that I saw the latest Las Vegas and it was eh. They had a story about a cleaner, not one that cleans up bad murders from mob members but a guy who covers up when men have had fun at strip clubs. Are you kidding me? I don't know why this story existed and it was embarrassing to watch. They also had a small story on how they were trying to get a new bartender but it was only for a catalyst so that Mike and Piper could get together in the show. Bad writing and how annoying is the Piper character? Delinda's baby, where is it and why is she sill huge, what it going on? I have about given up on the show. I rather see a movie in place of Friday night Tivo space.

I am my way to my improv workshop and afterwards I have to find some booze for Karen's party. I will probably head straight down from improv since I get out at 6pm and the party starts around 8pm. Not really enough time to go some. I might be able to put some songs together for the party after class. I should also put some food in my belly too.

Hi Weekend, I am tommEE. Nice to meet ya.

Last night I got me my fill of Chuck and I have to say it was good with the exception that they said 'New Episodes: Coming Soon'. What a bummer. I sat through Celebrity Apprentice and it didn't do anything for me. I think I played poker on the computer more than watch the show.

I saw an interesting new story that really made me want to joke. It was a teen hijacking plot to crash a Los Angeles plane on its way to Nashville, what were his plans? He was going to crash the plane into a Hanna Montana concert. I don't have a joke for this.

I just bought tickets for Cloverfield. One of the guys I talked to didn't like it but a couple of other did enjoy it. The reviews gave it four starts so it might be a worthwhile flick. The only annoying thing is Google movies told me it started at 8:00pm but it starts at 8:20pm. I hope I stay awake through it because I fell right asleep when I got home from work.

I am excited to see from friends tomorrow but I also got a call from Deanna today. She told me she is in Arizona visiting family today. I wish she would be able to visit me since I haven't seen her is ages and it would just be a short plane ride. Well anything can happen. If it happens, I hope its after tomorrow night because tomorrow is improv and then a party, I need some sleep.

Wow, I thought Sundays were boring

Why? Well I was sick and stayed home today. Daytime TV sucks more than a writers strike. That left me to do some work. Yes the geek side of me made me turn off Passions (I wasn't really watching Passions) and write some code. I got that done and had three phone conferences. A lot of work is coming down the pipe and I am not looking forward to it.

Tonight's TV should prove to be better than today's daytime crap. First off we have Chuck with two episodes with a Celebrity Apprentice in between. Chuck was left off months ago with a tiny cliff hanger so it could end up being watch worthy. I didn't like the show that much but it grew on me. We shall find out in a couple hours. Celebrity Apprentice was on last week and I got sucked into it but I am not sure with the lack of Gene Simmons will keep me entertained. Late night on David Letterman, T. J. Miller is making an appearance. I hung out with T. J. Miller during the Del Close Marathon at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater this past summer. He is a cool guy and has some good bits.

Tomorrow is Friday finally. I don't know why this week seemed to crawl since I didn't have work on Monday. I think I might try to see Untraceable. Its gotten four stars so it could be a good thriller.

Saturday is Deaddoll's and Ciritas' party. I am pretty excited to hang with the girls and get some drinks. I am hoping to see Johnny, Toastboy and Bradley. I don't know where I am staying that night but I am sure it has a possibility of winding up here.

So who has Valentines Day plans. If you are spending it stag, let me know. Booze is a great Valentine.

Daytime Drama award goes to...

I hate to rag on people but it seems that drama is starting up again. You know its like 30 or more years I might be left on this planet, maybe less because of El_Jefe. Christ, everyone should start being less self centered and just live and let live.

Work has been tough too and has been giving stomach pains. There has been a lot of withholding information from a particular vendor and it makes my job difficult. The only joy I am getting is solving a problem for one of the things we are trying to accomplish.

Deanna texted me last night. She said she hoped I was doing well and what a pain it is being on two opposite shifts. We never talk anymore. Good thing we never moved in with each other.

I am watching Deal and No Deal right now. The woman playing is from Kentucky and was given 9 cases with $1,000,000. She has knocked out five of them but only has a total of nine cases left. The one thing that is disappointing is that NBC isn't doing the Play and Win game. So there is no chance of me winning money unless I get off my ass and run to the 7-11 for a lottery ticket.

Tonight I ordered from Pizza Hut because of the rain tonight. I mistakenly clicked one of my previous orders to re-order. What I got to my door was a personal pan pizza instead of a regular size. Although, not that bad considering I am trying to eat less these days.

I am hoping to chat with Jamiegrrrl to see how she is doing and get some things off my mind. I also would like to gab about Project Runway.

I hooked up my Media Center PC to my flat screen when I got home from work. I wanted to install the beta of Moxi DVR on the PC. I couldn't find it so I downloaded Media Portal. Its running a little slow on this PC, so I think when I come back from Karen's party on Saturday or Sunday, I will stop at Fry's.

Tomorrow, there are two episodes of Chuck and an episode of Celebrity Apprentice. The bad side, no 30 Rock and no episode of The Office. Though there is a new episode of The Office, it conflicts with the start of the new season of LOST. Single channel DVRs, what are you going to do.

Leslie Poole got some

I saw a commercial for Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Tour. Are you kidding? I don't hold anything against Vince Vaughn but I don't know why a stand-up comedy is even hitting the theaters. Didn't we have enough of the Blue Collar and Kings of Comedy, not to mention good movies like the Comedians of Comedy Tour.

You don't know how hard it is to find a tiny toilet. I have been trying to find a model toilet for a sketch. It has to be smaller than an usable toilet but larger than one for a doll house. I am supposed to film some stuff with Jimmy but we haven't been able to hang out since we saw Match Game months ago. I have some video of us playing Guitar Hero but it doesn't make sense when its out of context.

I was wrong about the episodes of The Office last night. I thought one of them was supposed to be an episode where Dwight goes on Second Life but I think I was confused because of the Thursday episode.

I guess Saw IV was released on DVD this past Tuesday. I was watching the commercial for it and it was hard to remember what went on through the whole thing. I guess it is because it was so horrible when I saw it in the theater. I will probably have it in my Netflix queue but I would not put it on the top of the queue.

I was surfing around Facebook and I stumbled upon Liz's profile. I found it a little difficult to spend time on her profile because I was reminded of the time we spent together and how I miss the good times. It might be because we we dating around this time last year. During that time, my friend Gustav disowned me but I was introduced to Sushi Samba and a lot of great Brooklyn experiences. I know she is doing well and that is all that matters.

Tonight TV belongs to Project Runway since I missed last episode and Jamiegrrrl didn't have it on her DVR. Thursday marks the return of Chuck on NBC. There are two new episodes and there is also a new episode of Celebrity Apprentice. I don't really like Celebrity Apprentice but its a fun car wreck to watch, I don't know if it will still be fun now crazy Gene Simmons is gone.

Saturday I am going to a party down in Anaheim Hills. It should be good since there will probably be more girls than guys. I am hoping to see Johnny Cobra and Bradley maybe even Aron.

Maybe my mom is right, armageddon is coming

The reason I think armageddon might be headed this way is because people are starting to go nuts. Brittney is ordered to undergo a psych eval, Amy Winehouse is on the crack. Whats going on? Two planes crashed into each other in midair and then landed on a truck, killing that guy. Yahoo is laying off hundreds of workers. Things are screwy I guess.

In TV this week, everyone knows I have a weird taste but I do love The Office. The episode this week is the one where Dwight and Jim are in Second Life. Tonight's TV belongs to TBS with two repeats of The Office and two episodes of 10 Items Or Less, one new and one repeat.

Lastly Heath Ledger was found dead today. A recent trailer for the next Batman sequel, The Dark Knight, features Ledger as the Joker. He died of an apparent overdose. See kids, drugs are bad. You have a fucked up day, go see some comedy.

Muerte Las Vegas

So another weekend has come and gone. MLK had his day, the Packers lost and I am back from Las Vegas. Jamiegrrrl was alone because Bink was off in Florida working for the past 10 days. I left for Vegas straight after my improv workshop.

Improv was great. First off I was smitten from one of the girls in my workshop. I don't know if she has a boyfriend or a girlfriend but I will let you know as soon as I find out.

I did a interview and scene with Julie and we had good on stage chemistry. Our suggestion was laryngitis and our scene turned into a American Idol contestant that could not speak. It was enjoyed by the rest of the people in the workshop and we got good notes. The other scene I was involved in didn't work out as well but still was fun to do. During the break I lent some DVDs of documentaries to Billy and Julie.

I left from the workshop and hit traffic in LA but the 15 was good with no traffic. I got to Bink and Jamiegrrrl's house about 11pm and met her ex-husband who was visiting with the kids. The kids were already in bed and Jamiegrrrl didn't feel like going out so I ended up driving to the Dive Bar.

I saw Jason and Rob and the bar and Scumbag was tending bar. I was notified that I had a tab from two weeks ago still awaiting payment. I didn't know when it was from but apparently it was from the weekend I blacked out. After the Dive, I went to Loose Caboose to play some video poker and called a cab from there. I then got to the house at 7am.

When I got up at noon, Adam and the kids were already gone. Jamiegrrrl and I ended up watching TV all day. Well, tried to watch TV. There was absolutely nothing on. It was probably because it was Sunday. Around 4pm I headed to get some hot wings at Rum Runners. I didn't know that the game between the Packers and the Giants were playing a decision game for the Super Bowl. Rum Runners is also a Packers bar while I am a Giants fan. I wanted to play video poker but the bar was packed and I didn't want Packers fans getting mad at me for rooting for the other team. Giants won anyway.

At 8pm, Jamiegrrrl and I headed to the Dive and played video games and drank. We sat with Dana and Josh. Later Scumbag and Taro showed up.

Tonight I drove home and it was an ok drive but long. Tomorrow, back to work.

The handicap stall's lock is broken

That's what I have to deal with. Here I am in a comedic-like perch because the toilet is five feet tall and I know the door is going to fly open. It will fly open and I will be in the middle of some muscular face making movement and its all because of something my karma isn't covering.

I didn't blog yesterday because the last thing I wanted to do is be near a keyboard. It was a long, complicated day and I am glad I stayed away from computers. I did however glue myself to the TV. It wasn't like there was a bunch of interesting crap but it was something to take my mind off of the day. There was a repeat of the Office and I then sat through the Apprentice: Celebrity Edition. It was entertaining but disturbing at the same time.

I don't have plans tonight and I just found out that Monday is a holiday for me. Well, not actually for me but for Martin Luther King. So after my imrpov stuff tomorrow, I am going to drive into Vegas. Maybe do some Double Down, maybe a movie.

Compression Depression what's next... Obsession?

First off... Compression... Work has been tough. So many things happening at once and a lot of responsibility. I still have a handle on things but it would have been better if things were a little smoother.

Depression? Have you seen TV lately, even the movies. First I saw a teaser for a new Knight Rider series. They even changed KITT to a friggin Ford. What the fuck happened to the Trans-Am? NBC, first American Gladiators, now Knight Rider, are you really having trouble because of the strike? And what the heck is going on with the movies? Meet the Spartans? Is that all it takes to make a movie, 30 second sketches? Did Epic Movie do that well? I wanted to see One Missed Call last night but everyone was giving it less that 2.5 stars.

Deanna texted me yesterday and wanted me to call her but when I called her last night I didn't get a hold of her. I miss hanging out with her. The last time I saw her was when I accidentally bumped into her at Revival. I hope we talk soon.

I was told by Vicki last week this was the year for us. We both were born on the same day, years apart. We are supposed to have good luck for the next seven years, she says. Well I don't kknow when it will start. The latest happening is that I got a letter from the DMV saying my registration is suspended. Of course I didn't get the notice I time.

Well, not to steal a quote but, the sun will come out tomorrow, right?

Ug, I got back to Los Angeles finally

Hey kids, sorry the blog has been slow the last couple of days. I have a lot of catching up to do. I don't know where to begin. Birthdaycon was fun.

I think everything started off Wednesday night. I drove in to Las Vegas and arrived at Bink and Jamiegrrrl's house. Jamiegrrrl was sick but Bink and I went out for a drink at Dive Bar.

I went to CES Thursday morning. There was some interesting stuff like the 150" plasma. I visited a bunch of booths. I was curious about ASUS but they didnt have an interesting booth. Kenwood makes me want to upgrade my GPS system in my car and Microsoft was totally weak. Thursday night we ended up staying inside.

Friday afternoon I headed to the Sahara hotel to check-in to a free suite. I was not planning on staying there but I was picking it up for anyone who needed a room. I then went to the Mandalay Bay and checked into there. I had a couple drinks at the bar at Mandalay Bay and played some video poker. The video poker at the bar was $1 instead of the usual 25ยข so I ended burning through $140 or more just siting there through two drinks. I left soon after.

Birthdaycon began at the Artisan hotel after I left the Mandalay. Jamiegrrrl and Jay showed up first and then a pack of people like Tacitus, Kallahar, Chris and Queeg. We sat and drank for a bit but there has a bunch of votes to get some food. We gathered the group of Birthdaycon attendees and headed to the Hard Rock for food and a little gambling.

At the Hard Rock I had some good luck at the tables but I didn't feel like I wanted to go on a long roll because I had friends in the casino. So, I dragged then to the Double Down. There I bumped into some of the Sallys. I saw Trika but she was to far away to shout her name without causing embarrassment to myself. I hung out with Margret and a cute Mexican that looked like a greaser, like Rosie the mechanic. The greaser was cool with knowledge of cars and music. Nate from the Dive Bar and I drank with him a bunch. He cabbed with me back to the Dive Bar and it gets hazy after that. After the bar I went back to the Mandalay Bay. I played craps till 11am. Not a good idea.

Saturday night I met up with Sqweak, Mags and Jamiegrrrl. We got some dinner at the House of Blues. I didn't think I would be able to eat but the Strip Steak with Peppercorn was awesomely delicious.

We headed to the Dive Bar where my name was on the lighted marquee. I saw that Phil Shane was already setup and ready to go. He said he was waiting for me to arrive. He played awesome and I believe he didn't aquire a bunch of new fans. The Sallys showed up. I also met a cute girl who works in the Paul Mitchell salon in the Mandalay. Jamiegrrrl wanted me to hookup with Margret but that didn't happen either. After the Dive Bar, we headed to Double Down. I remember the Sallys, I remember Jamiegrrrl and my friends. The night gets a little hazy after that.

Work was tough today and will be tough this week. Saturday I will get back into the improv game

Lastly, 10 Items or Less was on tonight. It was mildly entertaining. The older episodes are funnier. Its not because they haven't been a while since I have seen them. They aired the first episode tonight also.

Ok, bedtime. I am still tired from the trip.

It almost time to party

I have checked into my hotel, also another hotel in-case anyone needs a room. I think I am going down to the bar and play some video poker before I plan on heading over to the Artisan Hotel. The Artisan is right off Sahara Ave on the left by Palace Station. We should be getting there at 8pm and if you need to get a hold of me you can email me at my gmail address with your digits and I will call you.

Happy Birthday tommEE Pickles

So today is my birthday. I have turned a year older. I don't feel wise, I feel old.

Going out to party tonight, see you there.

How will I be worshiped

Well, I gues I didn't blog yesterday but I was frig-what-the-heck busy. My birthday is in two days and there is a good reason to go, there are no golden globes on Jan 13th. Better have some award show fun at Birthdaycon.

I am driving out to Vegas in a bit and I am super excited. I will probably will blog later but its time to finish up and leave.

Pathetic TV

Wow, last night was filled with a lack of excitement. I made a little file about me making fun of Vicki's video that needs tracking and put it on my myspace. I ended up watching American Gladiators because I didn't have the energy to change the channel. The camera work was bad and used too many close-up shots that it was hard to scale the action that was going on. My guess is that it will most likely be cancelled, possible before the season is totally run.

I ended up copying dvds, nothing terribly good but stuff I needed to copy. While I was doing that I started rendering video of me and Jimmy. Some of it was funny but I don't think its ready for the web yet.

My skin is breaking out and its probably my work. I have been sweating the deadlines so much its crazy.

Lets do this: Documentary style!

Friday night I went off to hang with some old friends from the computer scene. I started off at Philippe's pretty eay but since its been a while, I didn't know as many people there and it was raining also. After Philippe's, Petty Larceny showed up and I got to get some time in with Skrooyoo and Petty as well as Robby and others.

Yesterday I had my improv workshop with Billy Merrit again. Not only because he is a fantastic teacher but I also would like to become more confident in my documentary style. The workshop was good but it was a little challenging because I have already taken a Documentary workshop and this was most of the classes' first time. I did enjoy the two interviews I participated in but the scene could have used some more work.

Today was lazy Sunday. I made several phone calls. I called Mom and checked on her RAM install. Shhe said it went fine and her computer is much faster. She also ordered high speed internet, I am proud of my Mommy. I also called Vicki and caught up with her. She and I share the same birthday. I thought if she was doing a show this weekend it would be funny to have a onstage phone call but she told me she had no onstage performances planned that weekend.

I watched a lot of World Series of Poker and also played a bunch online. I am excited about this upcoming week since it entails my Birthdaycon and Vegas. I also got an invite to Deaddol's and Ciritas party weeks later. That reminds me, I think I am going to call Margaret.

I must be getting old, or not enough sleep

Stress at work but a bunch things got figured out. Now I have dates for items that had no timeline. I might now have time for fun but at least I will get things accomplished.

Last night when I got home I took a disco nap and when I awoke it was about 7pm. I had in mind I wanted to see National Treasure because I saw a clip on YouTube. I set out of the house but the elevator was running slow, so I took the stairs. When I got downstairs I saw a sign saying the elevators were out of service. I was not happy about waiting for a non working elevator.

I decided to get a sandwich from Subway but I felt a little cheesy because I planned to eat it in the theater. Inside the movie, I watched previews while I ate my sandwich and gobbled on some popcorn. I seemed to forget that a PG movie would have childish trailers. Then it got really weird. It said "Now The Feature Presentation" and it started playing a Disney cartoon of Goofy buying and setting up a home theater system. The cartoon was so long, I was curious I was in the right theater. I was worried I just walked into a feature animation movie. I thought, why is there a full length Goofy movie at 7:45pm. The cartoon was five minutes long and then it finally played National Treasure 2.

The movie was ok but it seemed very long and the payout wasn't good for an ending. I would give it three out of five stars if I was rating it. The puzzle stuff was cool but that stuff pretty much ended halfway through the movie and the villain/hero conflict at the end was stupid. I wouldn't recommend the movie.

I got a call during the movie from El_Jefe and I called him after I left the theater. He told me he and Crazysage planned on driving down to my Birthdaycon. I asked El_Jefe where he was planning on staying. He said he wanted me to set him up. I told him I would see because it was short notice. We said either way, we would figure it out. When I got off the phone I called up the Sahara and got El_Jefe a suite. I am glad he is making the trip.

Today I am downtown and after my work is complete, I am going to head to the LA2600 meeting. I figure it will be cool to see everyone and a couple of people wanted to see an eeePC. I don't know how long I stay because I am a little tired and I have to clean my apartment. I also have my improv workshop with Billy Merrit on Saturday.

I think I am getting an ulcer

Work is nuts. Thing are not making correct dates and the technical stuff I need to get done, isn't looking good. Calgon take me away.

Last night was entertaining. TV wasn't spectacular but I got to watch Project Runway. It was cool because they went to a Hershey store in Times Square for materials. Well Elisa is out, her and Sweet P were both pretty awful. After Project Runway I watched Conan Obrien and even though it was apparent he didn't have writers, he still pulled off a hell of a show. It was entertaining but I don't know how long it will last. He can't keep showing a video of himself playing Rock Band using the voice of Edith Bunker.

Tonights TV sucks again. Celebrity Apprentice, give me a break. I was thinking about going to see a movie. Possibly National Treasure 2. People have asked why but I think I need a Disney-esk film. I am also going to walk over there to get some Subway.

Some good dates. January 11th, Birthdaycon starts at the Artisan Hotel. January 11th, Birthdaycon main event at Dive Bar. January 14th, American Cannibal is on Showtime. January 15th 10 Items or Less hits TBS.

Tomorrow I am going to hit up 2600 downtown.

Happy New Year a day late

I would have blogged yesterday but I didn't get up until after 4pm and after showering Bink, Jamiegrrrl and I ended up going to dinner. I took off after dinner and hit my bed once I got home.

So how was the New Years Eve? It was pretty good. I was kind of worried that it was going to suck since plans were not firm and everything we looked at had a problem with all three of us enjoying ourselves. We did have an offer from someone at the Dive Bar to buy Richard Cheese tickets for $75. I didn't care about the price but Bink didn't want to pay it and we were unsure he would make the show on time. Our plans to watch the fireworks from New York, New York fell through also because our friend Jay didn't want to hang around after work.

Since we didn't have firm plans, we napped and slacked. Then we went to the Carl Junior for some food. We headed to the Dive Bar about 11pm. Jamiegrrrl and I said Hi to Rob's parents and then took a seat by one of the bartop games then added some free credits. I was kind of disappointed because of the slow speed of the evening and it being the first new years I didn't have a date. I ended snapping at Jamiegrrrl for joking at my expense and I felt bad. We didn't get to see a ball drop, we didn't have a countdown and we didn't see the fireworks.

The bands started playing and I didn't mind the first one. Bink was getting tired from working a party before coming out. He decided to go home and leave the rest of the evening to me and Jamiegrrrl. We decided to stick for one more drink and then we headed to Double Down about 4:15am. When we got there Jamiegrrrl recognized some people but they didn't look familiar to me. One of the girls came up to me, bursting with excitement. She hugged me and I played along but I had no idea who she was. I caught her up on Birthdaycon information and she told me to take her number. I typed her number in my phone but I didn't know what to put for the name. I ended up naming it 'call herr', I was drunk. Right after I finished, she told me to call her. I was trying hard to hide the phone since I didn't want her to see the name. Her phone rang and she said, "Oh, I already have your number". Now I thought, I am in trouble. We separated for a minute and I learned from Jamiegrrrl that her name was Margaret.

While we were inside we saw some interesting sights also. On one of the dirty couches inside, there was this couple having sex. They were young but not bad looking. The odd thing about it besides on how long it was going on was the they had a blanket. We could figure out whether this was planned or wha Did they bring a blanket, did the bar provide it? We stayed until 5:30am when Jamiegrrrl finally called it quits. I decided to stay out. I wanted trouble.

I walked past the Office Bar but it seemed dead, thinking that strip bars would be pitiful in the early morn, I headed to the Hard Rock. I went straight for the craps table and I didn't end up leaving until 10:30am. The good part I didn't lose much money and I put in some serious time at the tables. Maybe they will invite me to stay for free. The funny thing is I was asked to leave the casino in the past.

Well that was the end until I woke up in the afternoon, got dinner with Jamiegrrrl and Bink then I went home. I didn't get in until after 1am. I was really tired all day but I survived and I will be resting until Birthdaycon. It was a fun weekend and I am happy I have friends like Bink and Jamiegrrrl.

Tomorrow I have a lot of work to do and then on Friday I am going to hit up 2600 to try to hookup with some of my friends I haven't seen in a long time.
