I heard a horrible sound coming from the the living room and I needed to grab my smokes anyway so I walked into the other room. It was a cover of the Michael Jackson song "Beat It" and it was being sung by Fall Out Boy and John Mayer. How happy I only had to contend with
Capizios, Parachute Pants and '
Mork and Mindy' when I was growing up.
I woke up pretty tired and feeling stressed. I hate waking up and thinking that its a work day when its not. I did have to get up around noontime because I had to get ready for
improv. I got there in time even though I had to stop on the way. I hate being late. The practice time we had together was good. I don't know for sure how tomorrow is going to go but the more support we have in the audience I am sure it will help.
I bought a new DVD Writer and some DVDs at Fry's yesterday. I originally went there to get a Sierra U595
evdo modem for my
eeePC but when I got to the Manhattan beach store at 6:30 PM the
Spint salesman said that his manager went home and he couldn't do any activations. Great service huh? I guess they didn't need my sale. Today I ended up ordering a
Novatel U727 from 1800mobiles.com instead. It was cheaper than the one at Fry's and probably will be more convenient to order online instead of fighting traffic to either one of the Fry's that are close to my home.
I haven't commented on the movies that I have watched lately. I just started getting some ready to send back to
Netflix and one that I am not sure how I feel about it is on my mind. I saw Oceans 13. I am not sure I enjoyed this film. I don't have a problem with the pair of George
Clooney and Brad
Bitt, I think they are good on screen. I think the plot was a little loose and was too busy again. Andy Garcia made a return again and it looked like its been a couple years since the first couple of films. Some of the stuff was plain silly, the item Brad Pitt used to seduce Ellen
Barkin. There was also the not-so-good acting from Super Dave Osborne. I do have to say, Ellen
Barkin was pretty hot. It's been a while since Switch and she's still got it.
I think I might watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe tonight. Maybe even fit in the Bridge To
Terabitha also. I have joked about the movies with Vicki
Ferentinos a bunch, I think I should know what I am making reference to.
I lost another
MySpace friend. Where do they go. I wish
Myspace would tell you who it was instead of me playing that game "Who Left?". Then again, it might start drama that way too.
See me perform, Tomorrow (Sunday):
