Last Post Of The Year

I have been in Vegas since Saturday. I left after doing two loads of laundry and packing some clothes. The ride in wasn't bad except for the Cajone Pass. I hung out with Jamiegrrrl and we hit up the Dive Bar. Evil Matt showed up later as well as Jay, Jamiegrrrl's friend. Matt and I went across the parking lot to Loose Caboose because it was very noisy in the Dive. Jamiegrrrl and Jay showed up a little later. It pretty much turned into a drinking and video poker thing.

Sunday Vince had work and that left me and Jamiegrrrl to entertain ourselves. We ended up slacking and watching movies. I got to see a couple of movies I had not seen before; Hostel 2 and For Your Consideration. We went to the Rum Runner for food and entertainment. I finally got me a little dongle for the machines to spin the wheel if I got 4 of a kind with the card of the day. I didn't get to spin the wheel.

We left Rum Runners and went over to the Dive. We had a couple of drinks and Bink ended up meeting us about 11pm. We did find a hookup for Richard Cheese but the tickets are $75 which is a little expensive. Right now we have no definative plans but we should have some fun.

Its been a hell of a year. I moved. I started a new job. I bought flat panel monitors. I had a short term relationship with a pretty girl. I heard about an ex-girlfriend getting pregnant. I performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York and in Los Angeles. I got pulled over in Kansas and searched.

What do have to look forward in the future? Well Birthdaycon for sure. I will be performing in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater another two times in Los Angeles. LOST should be back in February, 10 Items or Less is returning in a couple of weeks. Summertime, Defcon and Black Hat will be here and we should have a new election.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year. I miss everyone in New York.

Stuck listening to Richard Cheese

Its been a fun last couple of days. I went out Wednesday night because I saw Chris N. Dodgeballed to say he was at Ye Old King's Head. When I got home I walked on over and Chris was nice enough to pay for all my drinks. We even ordered the bartender not stop serving me. It was fun at first, then we hit on girls. That wasn't great. Then its kind of hazy. I remember talking to my doorman and then I woke up. That's it.

The next morning I woke up late and my phone was ringing. It was Deaddoll. We chatted and then I remember I was supposed to be downtown. I told her I was going to meet her after work and I will drive her home.

I went downtown to do some server maintenance and the I got out and met Deaddoll. We drove through the traffic and picked up her roomate at their apartment. We went for Mexican food and then hungout at their apartment. I learned while I was with them, the night before I drunk dialed Deaddoll. Apearently I left two voicemail messages. The first sounded like I was crying in pain. The second message was me telling her how I puked in my bathroom and was whining that I had to clean it up. She still has the messages and is going to try to post them to her myspace.

Today I am a little tired. I didn't get home until late. I am supposed to go to Las Vegas this weekend but I don't think I am going to leave tonight. I am planning on heading out on Saturday or Sunday. I have to do laundry tonight and I do need some rest. Hell, I just got back from Vegas on Tuesday.

I did get some news about the lineup for my birthday. I was unable to get Richard Cheese because it would cost me something like $12,000 for 60 minute performance. The line up is as follows:

SATURDAY JAN. 12TH TOMMEE PICKLES BIRTHDAY- CON/ PARADISE VISUALS AVN PARTY featuring PHIL SHANE 8pm to 11pm PARADISE VISUALS AVN AFTER PARTY The Sin City Sinners w/Brent Muscat (Faster Pussycat), Todd Kerns (Age of Electric), Troy ( Black Diamond), DEE (Marky Ramone Band, Black Diamond,Metal Skool) WITH SPECIAL GUESTSPhil Lewis (L.A. The day after Christmas...

Hey friends, hope your Christmas was merry and bright. I got back from Vegas last night. It was another 7 hour drive because of all the jackasses causing problems on the road. I stopped off at Barstow last night to get something to eat and recharge myself but them bastards at Barstow Station took the night off. I was stuff with either Popeyes or McDonalds.

Vegas was fun though. I got to see Evil Matt and Bink. Sunday night, Evil Matt and I went to the Silverton where I had some bad luck but I think Matt broke even. We talked as I pissed money away at the bar's video poker while knocked a couple drinks back.

Monday, Christmas Eve, I ended up hanging with Bink at Angry Dave's house. We were to watch for any of Dave and Victoria's guests, if they came early to their holiday party. The party was fun and I got to see a couple of movies I wouldn't have watched. One of them being Halloween (the Rob zombie one) and it was ok but a little long. It should have ended at the pool scene. The second movie I saw was 300. It didn't hold my intrest too well but at least if someone refers to the movie in a game of $20,000 pyramid, I might have a shot.

I am supposed to head back to Vegas this weekend if I don't have too much work to do. Its only a three day week, I already feel I need a nap.

Happy Holidays People

What's up with me? Well I am just catching my breath here in Primm, Nevada. I am on my way to see Bink for the Christmas Holiday.

Last night I finally got to see Jamiegrrrl in SoCal. I picked her up at her parents house and then we tried to decided what to do. I suggested Dave and Busters, so we headed to the Block. We got out cards and then we tried getting on some of the games. We got to play basketball and knocking down the coins but we didn't get to play skeeball. We ate whiles we were there too but left plenty of food on out plates because of the large portions.

I dropped her off before even midnight and then I ended up falling asleep in front of the television. I am just relieved I didn't have a hangover this morning and the traffic on the 15 has been pretty light. I will update what trouble we get into tonight.

Wow, slowing down to a stop

Well, yesterday, nothing. I have been busy at work and I have been doing nothing at home. I received some Netflix DVDs. I got Night at the Museum, Dead Kennedys - In God We Trust and Reservoir Dogs. I have see Night of the Museum yet so that will be something to blog about. I love doing my video reviews.

Work was quiet but I had fun. I only carried my mini laptop and it was fine. Its so funny carrying it around since it is hard to tell its even in my bag. I was playing with Songbird (http://songbirdnest.com) and it was cool finding songs on http://7inchpunk.com with it. I actually found Uniform Choice with it, a punk band from my skinhead days. I also thought about my buddies Kevin Meehan, Dennis Sullivan and Chip McMahon. I edited a photo of us in case they Google themselves.

I am currently doing laundry, fun huh. I am also watching the Singing Bee and Alicia, I have a thing for, just lost her championship. She left with $100,000. Not too shabby. I am also slowly cleaning my apartment. I don't know what I am doing tomorrow but I plan on heading into Vegas on Sunday. Jamiegrrrl said she wanted to get together Saturday since she blew me off last night :)

Lastly I was thinking about Rebecca Caldwell. Even though she didn't get a kick out of my improv, I still enjoyed spending time with her. She to date is the receiver of my most expensive gift. I bought her a pair of diamond earrings and even though they were thousands of dollars, she was worth every penny. Happy Holiday Vacations people.

Blast from the past

I am smiling right now because I just found a band I was looking for years. It was a band I saw in Trenton, New Jersey back in my skinhead days. I was with Dennis Sullivan, Kevin Meehan and I think Chip McMahon at City Gardens and we saw Sticks and Stones. I don't remember the year but I remember buying their black 7 inch album. I have been looking for their songs for a while. They have been so many punk song found on the internet but not thiers. I just found a wikipedia entry about them with MP3s. It made me smile.

I got a myspace from Liz today, she received her stuff I had of hers. I told her in a message that I missed her in no so many words, but I do. I hope I get to see her someday. I did get a call from my boss and he asked me if I still wanted to move back to New York. I don't know what I want to do yet.

I am supposed to hang with Jamiegrrrl but I don't know where. Maybe we will get dinner, I think TV is all repeats anyway.

Wow, this hump is big

I thought I would be more excited about the holiday weekends approaching. I should text or IM Siviak and tell him I am not going to be in LA for the New Years Holiday. I plan on being in Las Vegas if I get the free time.

I didn't get much accomplished last night. I ended up going to Fry's to get some RAM. I spent a couple of hours up there. I could look and drool over products forever. I ended up buying 2GB or SODIMM memory for the eeePC laptop, a $20 external case for a laptop drive and a 8 port Dlink switch for like $25. I got home about 9pm and watched most of the Biggest Loser, not too interesting. I fell asleep pretty easy but I then woke up at 4am. I put the new RAM in the laptop and then I replace my old switch with the new one. I woke up for work very tired.

Today people are annoying me pretty easily. I can wait to go home and work on some projects. I won't stay up late tonight, I hope.

Yay, I feel huge

Sure, its raining for the next three days but things are still cool. When I checked my mail after my Vegas trip, I saw that I had a package waiting for me at the Post Office. I went in the morning yesterday to retrieve it and it was one of the eeePC laptops I purchased earlier in the week. I brought it to work and unboxed it there. This thing is tiny, but packed with all the necessary software. I was even able to put the Skype Beta on it to use with the embedded webcam.

I only used the laptop at work because when I got home I was a little tired. I ended up popping Clerks 2 in the DVD player. I didn't see the movie before and I thought it was ok. It was a little funny in the beginning, kind of boring in the middle and sentimental in the end. I would probably give it 3.5 out of 5. There was also a pretty interesting documentary on HBO also. It was called Hard as Nails and it definitely kept my attention. It was about an unordained priest who started his own hardcore ministry. Mostly appealing to youths in Catholic schools.

Tonight I am going to attempt to do laundry and play with my tiny laptop. I might jump over to Frys and buy some memory or something. Tomorrow Jamiegrrrl is in Los Angeles, we will probably hang out sometime this week. Maybe I should check for some improv show to go to. TV shows are pretty much in hiatus.

Weekend at Bernie's

Well not a weekend at Bernie's but a weekend at Bink's. I drove to Las Vegas on Friday evening. I got into town about 10:00 and pulled into the Dive Bar. On the sign outside they had 'Tromeo After Party'. I came in and I saw Trika at the bar and a couple friends inside. I stayed and waited for Bink and Jamiegrrrl to arrive, they went to see Tromeo and Juliet at Tropicana Cinemas. I wish I got into town in time to go to the movie but LA traffic was incredibly bad.

When Bink and Jamiegrrrl arrived I asked to have them follow me to their house to drop my car off. We got back to the Dive a little bit later but the music was kind of annoying and service was slow. We decided to go to Loose Caboose just across the parking lot. Inside they had video poker machines and played a lot of early 80's rock and roll. I noticed the machines were Gamblers Bonus, I used to play these machines when I lived in Vegas. Well I was curious if I could see if I had any free money left on my user account but I couldn't remember my ID or PIN. After joking with the bartenderess, she said to try my bank card PIN number. Well, I thought that sounded like something I would have used, so I tried my old PIN number and bang, right in. I had over $44 dollars available, kick ass.

We hung out at Dive Bar after midnight and Taro treated us very nice. Bink wanted to go home because he was tired so Jamiegrrrl and I went out. We hit up Dive Bar again and then I said lets go gambling. We were looking for a dive of a casino and Jamiegrrrl said she never been in Hooters and wondered what it was like. Hooters was disgusting and only had one craps table with a $10 limit. No was even playing. So we took off from there and went to Ellis Island. They have a bath tub size craps table but noone was their either. We ended the evening at the Double Down where I was told that I had large beer goggles.

The next day we went to TGI Fridays for dinner where we had the worst waiter. He ended up bringing the wrong appetizer, forgot my dinner salad and never asked how our food was. After we ate, I didn't feel like complaining as much as I did when things were going wrong. I felt bad for a guy who has to work Saturday nights as a waiter in a Fridays but Jamiegrrrl grabbed the manager and we got comps for next meal. I gave mine to Jamiegrrrl since I don't think I will be in a Fridays anytime soon.

We headed to the Bunkhouse and paid the $10 cover. The bar wasn't full and I didn't see anyone we knew. I thought I would get a picture with Lloyd Kaufman but I didn't see him there. We got to the bar before 8pm and stayed till 10pm. The bands weren't that good and they didn't plug Pirate or Tromapalooza. Speaking of Pirate, she's kind of cute.

We headed out and decided we should see the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings. It is a bar in the Ghost Town Goodspings and it is supposedly haunted. A man was shot inside 80 years ago. He had one drink and then we ended up going to the Dive Bar and it was really crowded. I hung out with Nate and we did some shots. There were a couple cute girls in the bar. That was about it. We ended up going back to the house about 3:30pm

Sunday afternoon, we watched 1408 with John Cusack. It was good, some parts confusing. It was good though. I ended up driving home after the movie, traffic was bad near Yermo because of accidents. I got home around 9:30pm.

Back to work, Jamiegrrrl is in town Wednesday.

Happy Birthday Zaira and Michelle

I can't wait to brush my teeth today. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to buy a couple of shelving units. When I was nearing check out they had a bunch of crap near the register. Sample hand creams and other nonsense. They had a bin of the Tooth Tunes toothbrushes and I found a Kiss - Rock & Roll All Night toothbrush. When I got home I did a test with it and low and behold, it does play in your mouth pretty well.

I received an invite from Deaddoll about Zaira and Michelle's birthday party tonight. I didn't get the invite until late yesterday so I don't know if I can get a ride up there because I hate driving to a party I know I want to drink at. Even though I never got caught drinking and driving in Los Angeles, I have that one time in Las Vegas haunting me.

Since I got my shelving units, I was able to setup my printer/scanner finally. I needed to photocopy my license and passport for my title for my car. I need to get some California license plates if push comes to shove with the local authorities. It just attracts too much attention when a fast car zips down the road and then you see it's from a different state.

So you know there is a party tonight in North Hollywood. There is also a Tromeo and Juliet screening at the Tropicana Cinemas in Las Vegas. The is also an after party at my favorite bar, DIVE BAR. Lloyd Kaufman will be there in person to meet and greet. On Saturday is Tromapalooza in Las Vegas. More information is at http://www.tromapalooza.com/

Welcome back Chris March, congrats Christian

Ok, it's probably evident that I watched Project Runway. I don't know how it happened but Jack left and Chris came back. Kevin had a very cool outfit design but Christian beat him. Now that I got that out, I can get on to other stuff.

Ike Turner died, I don't know if I can get away with my Ike Turner Halloween costume now. I hope the show Deal or No Deal keeps running, I might be one of the models for Halloween. What does it take? A dress and a briefcase with a number on it.

I have been editing Hip Hop videos lately. I am trying to make more interesting videos for driving around in the car and stuff. It's nice getting back to the music of the late 80's/early 90's from New York.

Jammiegrrrl is in town next week which is cool. I enjoy it when I don't have to drive into a town and gamble to see my friends. Now if only Matt could do the same thing.

I watched Evan Almighty last night. It was OK. Steve Carrell is pretty funny but the movie was pretty predictable and took weird turns in the beginning. It would have been better if the continuation from the first one was more pronounced instead of his character going straight into office. The movie had a bigger corny message about consumption also. I got Clerks 2 also, I haven't put it in yet. I am feeling really critical and I don't want to rip the movie to shreds.

Tonight I have no plans. I am trying to keep in on the cheap for a while. I just bought those two laptops and I have a birthday coming up also. I am going to buy a shelving unit from Bed Bath and Beyond, they aren't the cheapest for essentials. I need to start organizing my bedroom, I haven't even unboxed my printer yet because I have nowhere to put it.

Well, at least there is a new 30 Rock on tonight and a couple repeats of The Office.

Insert title here

I don't know why I am having trouble thinking of a title. Its Wednesday and its been a little chilly. I am copying media off my TiVo on one computer and copying DVDs on another.

Last night I performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater with my improv pals. It was a good performance but it was one of the smaller audiences I have been in front of. The stage was crowded because there wasn't enough of us for two teams so we ended up forming one large team. I don't feel weird about it since I saw the women only improv show through the same circumstances. Billy was nice with the notes, I wish they were more critical but I am in another workshop with him starting Jan 5th.

Today there is a work Christmas party at Speed Zone. I don't know if I am going to attend or not. I have to clean and write some documents today.

I ordered another eeepc laptop yesterday. After reading about it, I found there are four different models and the first one I ordered didn't have an embedded webcam. That is pretty much the only difference. When I get both of them I will ebay or craigslist the one I don't want.

Boo

Can we get a suggestion please

Wow, I got up early today and I don't know why. I don't feel like I have that much energy, it's probably stress from the amount of stuff I have on my plate. I am happy though. It's going to be a good day I think. Heck, it's only 30 days until my birthday extravaganza.

Here is something to make someone miss New York City:

Yesterday I saw a laptop that has been around for a little bit that made me giddy. It's the new Asus eeePC. It is a 900Mhz Pentium Mobile processor with webcam, wifi, and solid state hard drive, even though it's only 4GB. It still got me excited enough to ebay from Taiwan. It runs Xandros Linux while being Windows XP compatable. Who needs that Vista crap anyway. It's nice, white and tiny. It also is very hackable. I will post more about it when and if I receive it.

Last night the television got even more pitiful. I ended up watching Deal or No Deal for two hours. Is no one ever going to win a million dollars or more. I have to make a tape and submit it. I need to be on that show.

Today, LOST season 3 DVDs are finally released. I might have to buy them. Later I perform at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. It's an exciting day. After the show, we will probably hit Birds for a drink. If you want to come, it's at 6:60pm at 5919 Frankin Avenue in Hollywood. Tickets are $5 and Upright Citizens Brigade student tickets are free. BYOB and pictures are allowed but no flash.

I suck at Guitar Hero all of a sudden

Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a good weekend. http://www.freedb.org/ is still down and not letting people get ID3 tags for CD Ripping. I don't know if the site was forced down from http://www.gracenote.com/. I don't know what I am going to do for updates of my local media database yet. I guess that will be something touched upon in my meetings today.

Yesterday I got up early and I finally decided to hook up my TiVo in my bedroom. I was able to drag a couple programs off of it and I got it straitened out to record some programs.

Later I went to go pick Jimmy up to head over to Sony studios to attend a taping of American Gladiators. When we got to the studio and found parking, we were presented with a line to wait in. Apparently even though they have been filming the show since November 27th, they were running terribly behind. The show was moved to 2:30pm instead of 5pm and even though the show was moved, we didn't get into the arena until after 4pm. Before we got in, they were letting in groups and organization, so when we got in, we were seated in the worst area. There was a divider separating our seats from the main stage that had the pool of water and giant wall they they were climbing.

We waited about an hour for them just to setup for shooting. To pacify us, they passed out Trail Mix bars and bottles of water. We felt like hostages. They offered us two bathroom breaks too. The stage manager was trying to get the crowd excited. When he did come out to the audience, he asked if any wanted to sing. We were now in the worst but largest, karaoke party.

When they did start taping, they shot interviews of the four contestants and gladiators. They were scripted interviews and totally showed that there is a writers strike. It was funny to see the only physical action was Hulk Hogan tripping over his lines.

They finally started to get ready for the event at the wall. We could see some of the action on a big screen but it wasn't good. They started the contestant and then the gladiators up the wall. If someone fell, they were supposed to go in the water below but this didn't happen either. No one got wet, they lowered the people on their harnesses slowly.

We couldn't take this anymore, were were at the studio for over five hours and treated pretty poorly for a studio audience. If we were to see any action, it probably would have been 11pm until we got out of there. We left our seats and had to be walked to the parking lot, probably because they are worried about people exploring the Wheel of Fortune set.

Jimmy and I grabbed his camera and Guitar Hero from his house and then headed to Swingers for a bite to eat. After eating, we setup'ed at the house and played some Guitar Hero. Jimmy beat me several times, I only got one win. We filmed some stuff too. We watched some Tim & Eric and then I drove him home.

Today I have laundry to do and then resting up. I perform at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater tomorrow and I want to be relaxed.

If you would like to see me on stage with my friends tomorrow, the information is below.

Are you ready to see a battle brother

Well we are just weeks away from Christmas and the weather dipped down to a blistering cold of 54 degrees. It did snow up in the mountains as well as the Cajon Pass area. I stayed inside and was safe from the elements.

Yesterday I cleaned up my living room. I might be in a nesting mode, I hope I am not pregnant. I hung up my rear speakers, I hate popcorn ceilings. I then watched 'Lets Go To Prison', didn't turn out to be a great movie, the actors were not the best for the roles. The was a 30 Rock repeat on, I watched that and then there was a Best Of Will Ferrell on Saturday Night Live. I think Best Of's should be reserved for the dead but I guess it generates ratings in this time of Writers Strike.

I talked with Jimmy about plans for American Gladiators and movie stuff. He was complaining about wearing a shirt underneath another shirt. I said it was for sweat factors. He then told me he doesn't sweat due to his lack of hair under his arms. Guess you learn something new every day.

I am watching documentaries today. I tried watching Dark Days which looked like it had interesting content but it was shot in black and white and dark. I just watched The Future We Will Create: Inside The World Of TED. It was interesting because of the technology as well as the minds in the documentary but the documentary is a little bland.

I am supposed to meet Jimmy as well as Sqweak and Mags to go to see American Gladiators tape. Hulk Hogan is the host but I really don't know what to expect of the shirt tearing ex-wrestler. After the show Jimmy and I will probably hang out and do comedy related writing or thinking. Maybe grab a bite to eat at Swingers or somewhere interesting.

Tuesday I am performing with my improv pals at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater at 6:30pm. Come see me then.

_____ Stick

Today looks sunny and I am going to stay indoors and clean. Yesterday when I got home, there was my new vacuum waiting at my door. I don't like the FedEx guy leaving packages at my door when we have a whole lobby of personnel here to accept packages. I am missing something from woot.com right now because of shipping issues.

Either way, I now have a vacuum and there is nothing that should be holding me from cleaning this apartment. Afterall it was clean once and I have closet organizers.

Last night I met Jimmy at his house. There was a mix-up about the Magicopolis plans. I recommended we go see Match Game at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. We left just an hour before the show, Jimmy was curious but after showing him how we spent 40 minutes looking for parking, he understood.

We decided to sit in the front row and waited for the show to begin. Once everyone came out on stage and Jimmy Pardo walked out, he went right to Jimmy. He joked with Jimmy about where he lived, what he did for a living and his hair. It was comical. The panel was made up of Bob Odenkirk, Rob Corddry, Sean Conroy, Randy Sklar and Scott Aukerman. The two people they called up to the stage, never saw the show before, live or on TV and happened to be very dumb.

The woman was annoying the whole time. She had no real manners, she tried to be funny and had no banter whatsoever. The guy was a 20 year old surfer looking slacker. Due to the woman being annoying everyone started rooting for the guy. It looked like it was going to be a win for the guy, the woman had two points but the next question was easy. "A Beverly Hills zoo just opened up and it was so classy even the _____ got nose jobs". The guy answered "All of the customers". The audience booed and of course four out of six panelists answered "Elephants". The woman went on to super match and won $5 after Rob Corddry gave up with her. The question was _____ Stick. She answered Chap Stick, he wrote Fuck Stick.

I dropped Jimmy off and got some Jack In The Box on the way home. I watched Las Vegas and it was OK. The show was a bit corny and its funny how shows like that are ending so early in December with Christmas themes. In the spirit, I changed the song on my MySpace.

Oh Oh It's Magic, you know

Hey hey it's Friday. It rained late last night but the rain has stopped for now. The weekend is here and I am happy as a clam. I have some plans and I am excited.

Yesterday was an interesting day. Freedb.org, the music database for ID3 tags, went down. If you go to http://www.freedb.org/freedb_search.php and try to search, it doesn't return any results. One of the things that rips CD's for us is hard coded to use FreeDB. I found a way to setup a local mirror and changed the host files of the windows boxes, now everything works as it should. I just now have to order a server so that we can keep a local mirror in-case the freeDB doesn't comeback up. This is just a temporary fix.

After work I met up with Sqweak and Mags. We had dinner at Houstons like we usually do. We caught up on each others lives and talked about future plans. I then went home and caught up on the television fun. 30 Rock was a new episode and was mildly entertaining. The Office was also on but it was a repeat. I ended up falling asleep during ER, showing you I am not entertained by medical dramas.

Today I have a bunch of meetings but I have plans after work. I am going to meet Jimmy and we are going to try to catch a show at Magicopolis. We also are going to write some sketches to film for all you youtube'ers. Saturday, we are going to have
a test about the medical effects of Guitar Hero III. Sunday we are going to see a taping of American Gladiators with Sqweak and Mags.

In your consumer outlook, I saw a deal at Fry's. It is for Seasons 1 - 5 of the Fox show 24. The box sets are available for $18.99 each, that is cheap.

Repeats among us

Yesterday was a so so day. I went to the store and bought batteries, DV tapes and the DVD 'Superbad'. I am glad I bought the DVD because there was nothing on TV last night. I didn't get to go to Upright Citizens Brigade because once I got home I was getting lazy. I called friends up for dinner but I didn't have any luck. I just pooped the DVD in and had to fool with the player a bunch to get it to work. I think its all the new encryption that Sony uses on the new DVDs.

I did get a call from Jimmy during lunch. He apologized for not returning the call sooner and he could get together this weekend. He told me I could have his Guitar Hero III because he thinks he gets mild seizures from it. I told him I would film him while it plays so we can see what triggers it. We also decided to write some sketches this weekend. We are going to see a taping of American Gladiators on Sunday too.

I have been watching TMZ and I have to say the show is taking a downhill slump what it calls celebrity sightings and news. A couple of things it had on the show the other day were the cowboy from YMCA and Downtown Julie Brown. The cowboy used to appear at black box comedy shows and seen at low budget events. Downtown Julie Brown was just lunching out at Ivy, I could lunch at Ivy, it doesn't make me a star.

Tonight I plan on battling the laundry. There is a new 30 Rock but The Office is a repeat. To get your Office fix, check out http://improveverywhere.com To see An Office.

Flashback to the 80's

Today was supposed to be really fun day. I was set to see a taping of the new American Gladiators at NBC. Unfortunately I learned just before I got to work that the taping today was just going to be promos and stuff. We are going to try to go Sunday instead. Maybe I am going to go to Upright Citizens Brigade tonight. Myspace and Cage Match are tonight and its always a blast.

Yesterday I didn't get to blog. I usually do from my car waiting for my improv group but I went into the theater early and ended up cleaning up the tables and chairs from the sketch class. I then got to talking to my improv pals and such.

The performances were mixes with some good and some bad. Its hard to be consistently good because we have only performed together four times. We perform next week together and I am sure its going to be fun while also entertaining.

Monday night, I didn't do anything. I sat home and watched Chuck. Unfortunately, Chuck is gone until January. I know shows go on vacation sometimes but I wonder how much the writers strike has a hold on it. Will the strike go on till next year, how many shows will be cut off in the middle. Hell, I was just checking out the rumor mill for LOST and I could hardly remember all the stuff that happened last season, how will writers pick their show up from the middle?

Speaking of the LOST, I saw that Season 3 wasn't released yet. It doesn't get released until December 11th. Weird since LOST is starting two months after the DVD release. Why don't they just put the episodes online like they used to. Hell, they would probably make more money with they advertising. DVD don't cost that much to produce but they also get pirated more than internet media. I should know.

Lastly on my mind, I went to an ex-girlfriends website. She had a post about some pictures she had in her collection in relation to Halloween. She remarked that people pictured with her in these random pictures were strangers who just popped in for a picture or two. It is funny since I am one of the people pictured and if she is saying I am a stranger that just 'popped in', it's funny. That would me she is a whore but that is another story. Best revenge is always living well and my friends can attest, I am living well.

The Porno Pickle

We are yet at the start of the week again. First off, congratulations to Ben Rogers, Charlie Todd, Anthony King, and Lamar on their web show 'An Office'. It made me giggle. It made me think, I have to upload some videos.

I bought a new domain today for AVN this year.
, thepornopickle.com. I am going to write a bunch of reviews and store front too. I plan on doing some sort of show from AVN if I am not too hungover from the night before.

I am kind of glad I am here on the West Coast because I saw it snowed on the East Coast yesterday but I am sad I am missing out on some UCBW action. Although I am having fun drivng around. Today I was speeding around town when I got lunch. I was surprised to see that my car still chirps the tires insecond gear. After my birthday, I have to look into doing the Defcon Cannonball Run.

I don't have definite Christmas or New Years plans and its starting to stress me. My pal Siviak wants to get a bungalo at Giant this year in LA but its $1700 or so and also requires a $170 ticket also. I am not sure if I was to spend that amount or not. Mandalay Bay is charging $500 for New Years Eve but I think I have a freebee for Sahara. I know I swore I wouldn't stay there again. Bink is working on New Years so I don't know who I am hanging out with. I wish I didn't screw up the time I had with Rebecca, she was who I was with two years ago. Last year was Liz and if anything, she was amazing to be with, and a great New Years Date.

I got confirmation that Gil and probably Toni will be heading to my birthdaycon party and surprisingly people are interested in tattoos.

Weekend Wrap-Up

The weekend started with rain. It is cool when it rains out here since it happens not so often. The sucky thing is that when it does, people do bot know how to drive. It took me like 50 minutes to get to work, its only a 30 minute drive.

After work I headed out to San Diego to attend Abbynrml's birthday party. Traffic was sucky but I stopped at Fry's in Fountain Valley and wasted about an hour in there. Traffic was a little better then.

I got to Abbynrml's about 10:30pm and a bunch of people were there. I got to catch up with Flea and Siviak. I was happy to see Abbynrml. Queeg and Jim showed up later too. I also caught up with Kalajar and Tacitus.

The next morning I was exhausted and a tinge hungover. The drive home seemed very long and I pulled over to stretch my legs. When I got home, I went straight to bed and napped at 6pm. I didn't end up waking up until midnight but I had no plans.

Today I woke up rested and I started looking for the title for my vehicle. I want to get my car registered here. I can't find it so I get to deal with the DMV on the phone tomorrow. I bet that will be a treat.

I didn't do much more than that. I called Deanna and caught up with her. I tried calling Jamiegrrrl but she didn't pick up. I thought today would have been a good day to catch up with long distance friends. I guess I can try next week. I don't have any plans for the next couple weekends and it feels nice. I might try to hit Las Vegas around Christmas but I don't know where I might stay.

I am missing New York comedy today. I think I might try to catch Harold Night tomorrow. I perform next week too.

I am going out for ice cream, that should be fun.
