Super Saturday
I didn't think I would have been hungover but yesterdays happy hour was more than an hour. I won't be doing that again soon. Last night I ended up at Revival and was met by Alaina then later Max, Nathan and Jen. It was fun and I don't think I am going to disclose too much here.
Today I had improv workshop and Billy Merritt was coaching us and he is awesome. I had so much fun in class even with my hangover. After class Pete, Amy, Tao, Ben, Megan, Melissa, Phlip and Dave went for food at Brgr.
Tonight I a going to go see UCBW WrestleSlamMania at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. I am meeting a bunch of people there.
Tomorrow is April Fools Day and I am planning on seeing Vicki and Danny perform some standup.

Crap on a crap cracker but its Friday
Cage Match was awesome, I thought the score would have been closer. It was the champion Reuben Williams vs. Death by Roo Roo. It score was 67 to 23, Rueben Williams. I saw Crystal and Tao there as well as Amy and her brother Ben. I also saw Summer and waited with her in line before the show. She made me feel bad knowing how health she is and she teaches healthy living.
Today I got to work and its my bosses last day. I have to remove his access when he leaves and then he will be locked out but I will save his directories just in case. I had an issue when I was moving UID and GID entries. The qmail queue got owned wrong and it screwed things pretty good. I got it working to the best of my ability for now and we will see what is going on in a couple days. Tonight I have some sweet plans and it should start out the weekend nicely.
Tomorrow I have my improv workshop and then I will be looking forward to more fun. April fools is right around the corner too.

You know what sucked? LOST
That's right LOST sucked. I will get to that in a minute. Last night I went out to Duplex to see Vicky and Amy perform standup. Vicki and Danny both bought me drinks, so it was a great time. Vicki did some new material and it was good. After the performances Vicki and I said goodbye to Danny, Amy and Leah and we decided to go across to Mother. Our goal was to say hello to Chris. We got inside and the doorman said 'You know this is a gay bar right?'. We told him we were aware of that but we were just stopping by to say hi to a friend. Well it turned out that Chris wasn't there and we left.
Vicki and I both jumped on the 1 train and went to Union Square. We walked for a bit and talked until we got to 6th ave. Vicki had to call someone about a skit she was doing on the radio today. It sounded funny so I hope I get to hear it.
We then parted ways and I went to Revival. I chatted with Danielle and Adam about improv and Randy's class on Horror script writing. LOST was on so they changed the channel so that I could watch it. It sucked though, the story was about two insignificant characters and the story was boring. I left late and got a hotdog on the way home.
Today I have been working on LDAP and setting up host restrictions. I got it to work finally. It was a problem at first because these machines at 64 bit and the libraries were not all there. The next thing I have to do is straighten out the UIDs on servers and recompile sshd on all the servers to use public keys with LDAP.
Tonight I am going to Cage Match at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and I believe Crystal and Tao will be there. Tomorrow I think I will have dinner with Max and Alaina. Saturday I have improv workshop and I don't know what is later. Monday I am going to a cool party with Tina at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.
See you improv fans tonight and Penn and Teller on my TiVO....

Two down, three to go
Its Tuesday and I am sitting in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater waiting for Harold Night to start. The beer girl isn't here and that's really weird. Work was a little satisfactory today I edited UIDs and GIDs on six servers. Tomorrow I will probably test out the SSH with LDAP with the coworkers.
Last night was ok, I was supposed to go to the screening of Vicki's short but Channel 102 rejected it. I went to Beyond Improdome and met Phlip there. We performed with Jules and it was ok. Choderfone won and they were ok, it looked like they were too close to our style but eh, who cares. I went home and had a granola bar.
Tomorrow is Improdome, I will probably go but I like LOST a lot. I usually see Liz about this time in the week but I had nit heard from her. I don't know what the deal is but tomorrow is hump day, yay.

It's the Weekend Update with tommEE pickles
Howdy. The weekend has ended and I am just getting back to the computer to blog some memories and thoughts.
Friday night came and gone. I was thinking of getting some dinner so I called Alaina. She said that her stomach was bothering her and she didn't want to go out. I called Tina but went to voicemail. I decided to order a nice dinner and get it delivered and watch TV until I passed out. I was due at a workshop at noon the next day and then I was to perform later so I didn't want to go drinking.
Saturday morning I woke up and headed to the Upright Citizens Brigade to my workshop. Billy wasn't there but Neil was and he did provide a great perspective on some things that I needed a different view. This was the first week of this workshop so nine of the faces were new to me. It was a great time and I believe I remember everyone in the group. After, a bunch of us all went to eat something before the performance.
Later we ended up at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. We arrive before our performance and after Shannon showed up, she divided us into two groups. We had a little competition to see who went first and it was going to be the team that I was on. We went into the green room after we warmed up and we played a game to inspire a name for our team (thanks to Charlie Todd who gave me the idea about eight months ago). We settled on the name Moose Feet. Shannon decided that I grabbed the suggestion and we went running out to the stage. I am not sure if anyone noticed the song playing when we ran out. It was a song that Tim prepared called 'Do it in the butt'. There is a story behind it but that's for another time. I know that out of the people I invited; Tina, Max, Alaina, Danny, Brandon and Vicki showed.
I introduced our group and asked for a suggestion. It was weird since I know there was several improvisers in the audience, the crowd was silent. Ben, a guy who is in my workshop shouted out parfait. We did an organic opening and I was pleasantly surprised how funny it was as well as how many idea came out of it. I did my scene with CeCe and she was totally awesome. The group scenes were very good also. I was happy at the end when our third beat tied with the second scene. I felt really good about the performance I hope that it made Shannon proud.
After the performance we headed to Pete McManus's and had a couple drinks. Max and Alaina came but Tina had to walk her dog; Brandon, Vicki and Danny were going to meet us at Dave and Busters. We had a couple drinks with the group and the guests.
We got to Dave and Busters and it was packed with children and other annoying people. We reserved a table and got some drinks. Some other friends were having a birthday party so we hung out with them for a bit. Christine and Durden were there and a bunch of people I don't remember their names but it was enjoyable. Vicki called and said they were on their way.
Danny, Vicki, Brandon and their friend Amy arrived. We got some drinks and waited about 30 minutes for the table. We got the table and had a pretty good dinner. We surprised Danny with a birthday song and cake even though it wasn't his birthday. After dinner Amy, Danny and Brandon split. The rest of us played games. Vicki was great to play games with because she kept of winning a mega amount of tickets. We collectively won over 2000 tickets along with fake jewels, a huge ass boxing glove and a leather doo rag. We left when they closed at 2:00am and I headed home.
This morning I got up and didn't fell 100%. Probably from the celebrating. I ordered a bunch of take out from a pizzeria and pigged out. I didn't do much of anything. I was supposed to see Danny perform at Pieces but I couldn't get myself motivated in time. I watched Best Week Ever and a show I recorded called Acceptable TV. It is a take-off of Channel 101 out in LA (a IO project). It was ok, but I felt like it wasn't totally meant for TV, it is more fun in the theater. I also saw a plug for "Thank God You're Here" and I went to look up information about it and it's a copy of a show in Australia. Why is there a lack of originality in the US?
Right now I am watching Syriana and it's not bad. I am enjoying it even though its a pretty thick drama.
Tomorrow I have work and then later I will be performing at Beyond Improdome at the PIT. Tuesday I will be going to Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Wednesday I will be performing at Improdome at the PIT. Thursday is an awesome Cage Match between champion Reuben Williams and Death by Roo Roo. Friday I do not have plans of yet but I do not want to go out late since I have workshop Saturday. Saturday night Vicki is performing in New Jersey and a bunch of people are planning on going.
Some pictures from Saturday (Sorry, some are blurry)

Go see tommEE perform tomorrow
Yesterday Reuben Williams kicked ass again. They beat Kill Your Darlings 57 to 5. I saw Melissa and Dave, Phlip was working too.
Today work was ok, wrote a bunch about monitoring. After work I was tired, so I took a disco nap. When I woke, I decided to head to BestBuy to get some RAM for my laptop. I wish we had a Frys. I was going to buy Saw III and I also saw that SAW I and II were only $10 each. I decided I would just wait for a Netflix moment.
Tonight I am just slacking. I would go out but I have improv workshop at noon and I don't want to be hungover. After class I am also performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater at 5:30pm. We will be heading to Pete McManus later that evening. After the bar, a bunch of us are going to Dave and Busters.
Here is a post script, did you see the silly blogger bar at the top. Its annoying. Anyone with a better blogging tool that lets you email your blogs and post to the web, let me know.

Wow, I hope you guys didn't think I died
Its been a real long time since I blogged. Lets recap the past couple days.
Monday afternoon I headed to my last workshop with Shannon O'neill. It was a good class, Shannon beat me up but I was a good lesson. I had a good scene with Dave but I think we always have good scenes together. He is a good improv player. After class I talked with Liz on the phone and then I got a drink inside the Triple Crown. I saw Alan from Bull Honkey inside and he asked me if I was going to Beyond Improdome. I told him of course but when I got to Beyond Improdome I didn't see him. Phlip was already inside filling out our ballot.
We got called up to the stage third from last and we put on a furious set. It had some really funny spots in it but Sam and Ern came up last with a pretty funny set. After everyone voted, Sam and Ern claimed first for Monday night.
Tuesday after work I wound up going to Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. I saw Sara after I got inside but I didn't sit with her since she already had company. All the groups did awesome sets and Brighter Side of Nightmare hosted the first part. During the second part I got another beer and saw Dave from my workshop. fwand had a really cool set.
Last night Liz came over to spend the night and we ordered some take out food from Noodle Corner, it was so so. We watched LOST and that was awesome. It was cool how John Lock got pushed out of a window to paralyze him. When I went to sleep, I awoke at 6am with food poisoning pains. It sucked. I am heading to meet Rebecca for dinner right now and then going to Cage Match later. Thank God Tomorrow is Friday. I have some work to do tonight at 4am,yuck.

Wet and messy Monday
Wow, Mondays do weigh you down sometimes. The weekend wasn't the most exciting but it seems so when Monday comes along. I got to work this morning and was going to test the LDAP stuff but a problem came along. I noticed some of the permissions would change went I changed the nsswitch.conf. I opted to write a standard for uid/gid numbers to the server farm first so we didn't have to wrestle with permissions. One of the things I am wrestling with now is that the staff needs to create files with the same group, which isn't a problem but I have some issues when it comes to servers they haven't logged into before. I edited PAM to create a folder when a new user logs in. Well thos files would be owned by a general group and readable to the group. I am not comfortable.
Today was also weird. My boss, gave a two week notice. I don't know why but it happened. I don't know if they have someone to take his place but I like my boss, what will happen next.
I left work later and headed to improv class, it was my last class with Shannon. Shannon is an awesome teacher and I would recommend her to anyone who is taking 301. She would beat me up but I need that at times. We filled out surveys about the class and then I headed to the Triple Crown.
Later I will be at the PIT and probably performing with Phlip. I hope it goes well, Phlip and I usually have a great time. We sometimes have difficulty because we just got out of a three hour workshop. Its fun though, Shawn and Starr are gret hosts and great people show up. Another chance to take photos.

Nothing like snow and drinking
Friday night after work I went to the movies with Max and Alaina. We saw American Cannibal. It was good for me but I think it left others unfufilled. It was still snowing when we got out of the movie and there was about three inches on the ground. We wanted to go ome where close so we ended up at Reservoir. It was on, not too expensive and there was seating. We drank a couple rounds and then we parted ways. I went to Revival. No one was there except Taz, Danielle and Adam. The was also this couple there. The man just lost his mother and the mother just gave a ring to them for their engagement/wedding, the woman lost it outside as she took her gloves off. The shoveled the walk looking for it. They didn't find it and it was heartbreaking. I suggested that they might want to pick up a metal detector from Radio Shack. I hope they found it. After Revival I headed to Tracy J's.
Saturday I headed to Brooklyn to meet Liz for brunch. We went to Union Picnic andx it was quite tasty. We then went back to Liz's place and watched 30 Rock and Inconvenient Truth. Being tired from the night before, we ended up slacking and napping. We ordered Chinese Food and that was the extent of our wild Saint Patricks Day.
Today we woke up and got some brunch at Harefield Road. After eating we headed up to the dirty 30's to look for some Vans Circle Jerks sneakers. They didn't have them in stock and there wasn't anything we found of interest. We headed back to my place and watched American Splendor. I don't know why but I started talking about the 1930's Abbott and Costello Who's on First routine. She never heard of it. I found it on Youtube and showed it two her but she didn't find it funny. It was getting late and we bith needed to eat. She left and I ordered a pizza. Family Guy was a rerun and I am just copying DVDs.
Tomorrow I have my last class with Shannon and I will be performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater on Saturday at 5:30pm. Afterwards we will be heading to Dave and Busters in Times Square for some videogames, skeeball and drinks.
Tomorrow night, Phlip and I will be at the PIT performing at Beyond Improdome. Tuesday is Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Wednesday I will be performing at the PIT. Thursday is Cage Match at UCB, where Reuben Williams will battle Kill Your Darlings.

Ugh, Heat, Rain, Cold
Yesterday's weather was so great compared to today and it looks like its going to get worse. I didn't have a bad night. It started with Max calling me and saying they were going to go to Revival because the nice weather. I wanted to stay home and wait for LOST but I don't see Max and Alaina as much as I used to.
I got down to Revival but they were over at Galaxy. I sat down with them and talked for a while. After they were finished eating, we walked to Revival. Inside, we headed to the backyard and got some sweet seats outside. I had one drink and then it was time to leave because I was planning on performing at Improdome.
I stopped home just to pick up my camera and then I headed to the PIT. I saw Sam and Ernie as I went to get on a team. It looked like they wanted to play with themselves so I didn't aske them to play. Mike Short put me on a team with two newbies. We were the first team called up to the stage. It was ok, our suggestion was hopscotch. We did one scene involving kids and it turned into something darker in the end. Sam and Ern with Des won this week.
On the way home I dialed Liz and talked with her until I was home. I got inside and watched LOST for the remainder of the time I was awake. LOST was good, nice cliffhanger on the end.
Today it was 60 and above but then turned dark. It started raining and is supposed to turn into snow. It is 40 degrees right now. I am at Cage Match so that is nice. I moved my desk at work. I showed one of my coworkers how ABC lets you watch the last LOST on the website but he didn't want to because he watches it with his girlfriend, nice. Tomorrow is Friday and there is a cool movie American Cannibal being screened. It should get better.

Happy Pi Day
Well close, Pi is actually 3.14159265.
Last night was fun. First I went to meet that pretty girl Liz for some great food at Sushi Samba. We didn't have too much time to hang out because I had plans and she is cat sitting but it was nice spending anytime with her.
After dinner I headed to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to see the teams perform at Harold Night. I was to meet Tim who moved up here from D.C..
As I got to the theater there was a long line in the stand-by line and there was hardly a line in the reservations line. I went down to the box office and showed my identification. Chuck Darble and the intern down there, pointed to a sign that said reservations only. I told them this has never happened like this before and they told me it was sold out. They said I should make reservations next time. I used my phone to go to http://ucbt.net and saw that the show wasn't sold out. I reserved tickets and went back. I told them to refresh the browser and *poof* I was there. I got my ticket afterall.
The lineup was Bastian, Kill Your Darlings, Tantrum, 1985 and fwand. To say the least 1985 and fwand were awesome. Highlights were Ben and Risa making Google Maps and robots in fwand. After the show, I went home and talked with Liz until I went to bed.
Today I found out there is a asteroid headed toward earth and will be here April 13th, 2036; Friday the 13th! I got to work and I was working with FUSE with SSH and saw that we timeout at our data center due to the data centers firewall. I found this SSH client called autossh and I am trying to see if that can bandaid our problem in the meantime. Tonight is Improdome, tomorrow is Cage Match.... LOST is also on! Yay.

Don't hit me Larry
It's a great day and last night was good too. It started after work when I went to improv class. Like it usually goes, I had some good scenes and some scenes that could have been better. I talked with Phlip in class and he said he couldn't perform at Beyond Improdome because he was sick. It was a bummer because we were going to go head to head with the other team we performed with but he didn't want to chance a relapse.
I went to Triple Crown for a bite to eat and then I decided to go to the PIT and try to hook up with someone to be on my team. When I got to the pit Chris O'Neil and Mike Short were outside. We chatted for a bit and then headed inside. I saw Starr and I asked him if he would like to join my team. He said sure but later he hooked me up with Sam and Ern because they were only two people like last week
We didn't go on until third position to last. We got out on the stage and Sam asked for a suggestion. We got the suggestion "Rerun". Sam went out and sat on the floor like a kid. I walked up and sat next to her and asked in a kid's voice, "whatcha doing?". She said she was coloring a perfec world and it went on from there. It was funny between the two of us and then Ernie came out. Ernie played an abusive step father and it got really funny. It was a great scene. We decided to do a real long scene and it came out beautiful. At the end of the competition, it was close. Mojitos won by one vote. I heard later we came in second. Pictures are located at
http://tommEE.net/March_2007.
I went to the bar afterwards and I hung out with Chris O'Neil and Randy Pearlstein. We talked about myspace and other stuff. I told Chris I would get him the pics I took last night and then I went home.
I got up for work today and had a meeting about 2nd Quarter projects. I brought up stuff like a security audit and LDAP network. One of the things my management would like me to work on is automating users in a virtual environment. One of the things we thought of was using fuse over ssh for mounting. I like that since I have used it before and it's user friendly since it doesn't require root and its easy.
Tonight I am going to go to Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and I might have dinner with Liz, I am excited. Tomorrow Improdome might or might now happen. Thursday awesome Cage Match. Friday American Cannibal opens and Vicki performs.

Time to imagineer
Last night was pretty lame. I just watched Family Guy. I did give The Winner another shot because it was between The Simpsons and Family Guy but it still was really bad. Sorry Rob, I am sure its not you, its the writers.
Today I got up, checked if the fine people at myspace converted my profile to comedian yet but they didn't. Tofay I am going to install a LDAP server and finish writing some monitoring documentation.
Later today I have an improv class, just two left to this level. Then later tonight I will be at the PIT defending our title as Beyond Improdome champions. There is a new 24 tonight but I am not caught up from the last three episodes. I don't know what's up with Studio 60 and there is no new 30 Rock this week either. TV just sucks this week. Well at least the is Harold Night tomorrow at UCB, Big Black Car at the PIT Wednesday and its free, Thursday is Cage Match, Friday Vicki performs standup at Laugh Lounge, and we'll tie one on.

On you mark, get set... New week has started
New week and we are an hour into the future. Today is a beautiful day and the weekend was awesome.
Friday I left work and dropped my stuff at home. I decided to head to Revival for a little happy hour action. Inside it was busy but I saw Danielle and Adam working so I was happy. I had two drinks and surfed the internet a bit. I saw that UCB was having an open mike standup so I emailed the info to Danny and Vicki. I didn't bump into anyone else I recognized so I decided to leave.
I got home in time to watch the Season Finale of Las Vegas. It was ok as an episode but not at a season ender. I called Liz to see how she was doing and I asked her if she wanted to watch some movies. She said she just picked up the Pick of Destiny. I decided to go over and we watched the movie halfway through but it wasn't enough to keep us awake.
The next day we walked to Union Picnic for brunch. We have been there before for dinner but never for brunch. The food selection for brunch was awesome and the food was delicious. We walked to the train and headed back to my place. We slacked for a bit and watched a bit of TV. About 7:30 we left to head up to Don't Tell Mama to see Danny and Vicki.
We arrived at Don't Tell Mama and waited outside for Max and Alaina. Danny came out for a smoke and we chatted for a bit. Chris and one of his friends showed up as well. We went inside to get a table because even though we had reservations, we wanted to get a good table. We went inside and sat down. We were informed that if the rest of our party didn't show by showtime, they wouldn't get in. Luckily, they arrived before the show started. I saw Jeremy and Brandon show up as well. It was great that Vicki and Danny had so much support.
Vicki and Danny both did awesome sets. Danny did some new material that I didn't hear before and it was great. Vicki performed so good, she had the same material that u saw before but it still made me laugh out loud. Nate performed and he was really funny. Gave was making me laugh so hard and was a great superstar. We left after the standup to go to Molly Wee for food and drinks.
The reason we ended up at Molly Wee was because we wanted to be close to Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Brandon was invited to perform in the Worst Standup Comics Show. He was scared but everyone convinced him to do it. The show was pretty funny altogether but Brandon stole the show in my opinion. He had me laughing so hard that I cried. Dominic was funny as Dane Cook and Winding Road was also funny.
We left UCB and ended up at Jake's Saloon. We hung around for a drink and recalled the fun evening. I told everyone when I perform, we will go to Dave and Busters after. Some people didn't know what Dave and Busters was, some didn't know there was one in the city. Liz was tired and so was I. We decided to go back to my place and call it an evening.
We woke this morning and headed out for brunch. It is a nice day and more daylight due to the time change. My phone didn't change and I had to do it on my own. My TiVo won't change for three weeks but they adjusted the schedules to be an hour behind.
Tomorrow I have work, then class, then we defend our title at Beyond Improdome.

Happy happy day, we made it through the week
I am at work and I am in a pretty chipper mood because we are at the weekend. I also started the day by watching LOST and it wasn't a bad episode. I don't have any solid plans yet on what I am doing tonight but I think I need a happy hour. I thought of contacting Xris for drink after work but its chilly and too short of notice. I will probably end up at Revival for a quick happy hour or something.
I am writing a document regarding a proposal for monitoring network. I was also looking up information on the CompUsa closings and it turns out in their 50% downsize, they are going to keep the two Manhattan stores. I was hoping to find some good bargins. I guess I will just have to catch the flyers that come out on Sunday.
I would like to do something fun tonight since last night was pretty entertaining. I got home and waited for Liz to come over. She is not having an easy time dealing with a personal tragedy and I am trying to be a great support for her. Comedy is a healing tool so we ended up catching Cage Match at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. It was Reuben Williams versus Tantrum. Rueben Williams went first and was really good. A highlight for me was when Eric, Chris and Charlie came out to play a game but they were playing different games likme Chess, Jenga and Poker. It was great. Tantrum had moments but didn't win. Scores were 41 - 12.
Liz and I went back to my house, I watched some TV while waiting for food. Liz was falling asleep because she was exhausted. After fishing my food we went to sleep. We wole this morning in a good mood and then I got ready for work.
Tomorrow Liz, Max, Alaina and myself are going to see Danny and Vicki perform at Don't Tell Mama.

Late afternoon blogging while watching Gemberling
Someone in the office said something about unitards and it got me in the mood to rewatch Gemberling, the scifi comedy hit by John Gemberling and Curtis Gwinn. It is better that Fox's The Winner which is a surprise. My favorite character is Kazaa. It's just a little break from the document formatting and work junk. I am kind of groggy today because I didn't get much sleep. I only have a little more work to do until I go home. Later Liz might come over to spend sometime because she is going though something personal.
Last night I went for a drink and a bite. When I came home I got a phone call from Liz and she was really upset. I asked if she wanted to meet somewhere and she told me she didn't want to leave the house. I told her I would be right over. We watched Family Guy and 30 Rock as I tried to relax her and make her feel better. I spent the night and left with her this morning.
I didn't get to see LOST because I was being considerate. It was hard being next to Liz because we broke up a week ago. I won't detail the mess here but it wasn't a mutual descision. We still talk because we are maintaining a friendship and I might see her this evening. I plan on going to Cage Match at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater even though I am real tired. Liz will come with me if she stays. Reuben Williams is still champion.
Saturday Alaina and I are going to see Danny and Vicki perform at Don't Tell Mama. I have to ask her if Max is coming so I can make reservations. I have no idea if Liz is going to go. Monday will be fun because Phlip and I will battle to retain our rights of champion.
It is kind of weird because Liz told someone that isn't really a friend of hers that we broke up. I don't know what the motive behind this is and that is one of the reasons I feel ok disclosing it here. I have nothing to hide but I am a little weirded out by that.

Who wants to bet it will snow in April?
The weather has been so weird, at least to me. After all, I have spent the last several years on the west coast from awesome weather in Los Angeles and then a little weird weather in Las Vegas. In a city that a lot of walking is done, the weather here is wierd. January it was 70, it's the middle of March and it's 19 degrees and snowing. It's not fun. I didn't take my air conditioner out of the window and I kind of regreted it. My apartment did get a little chilly. It was very cold last night.
I bundled up last night because of the cold and went to Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. I didn't have anything to eat yesterday so when I drank several beers they hit me good. I thought I would have seen Curtis because he needed advice for his computer stuff but he didn't show. I stayed for all five groups and they were all funny. Before the end I saw Phlip and he told me he quit his martial arts class because he wanted to persue comedy more. I didn't know what to think about it. I told him we would catch up Wednesday and see if we wanted to perform.
I went home and went right to bed. I awoke around 4am but I think it was because it was getting chilly and I didn't have the windows totally sealed. I went back to bed and morning sure came quick.
Tonight I am going to try to catch LOST on HDTV but I know I will probably end up at the PIT during the time it's on. I was thinking about getting out of town this weekend but I forgot that Vicki and Danny are performing on Saturday and I planned on going. It's going to rain this weekend anyway. On the positive side, the tempatures will be in the 50's

A bucket full of awesome
Work was good yeterday because I got the SSH Keys working in LDAP. After work, I went to class and it was a good learning time. I did a scene with CiCi and I thought it was very solid. I did another scene with Phlip and the first beat was bery solid and the second was ok. After class I had to run home to get my pajamas for the Beyond Improdome Pajama Jammy Jam. I said I would meet Phlip after I got back.
Phlip and I met at Triple Crown and talked for a bit. We discussed some of the scenes in class and other things. We walked to the PIT and went inside. We entered our name and noticed there was a long line for the bathroom. Apparently everyone had the same idea to bring their pajamas and change in the bathroom. After changing we headed for our seats.
Starr and Shawn got announced and they came out without pajamas on. Some people boo'ed, I started a chant "Where's your pajamas". They tried to talk over the noise and all of a sudden, they took their clothes off and had outfits under that. They welcomed the crowd and called the first team out. I took lots of pictures of everyone. We got called up second or third to last and combined our two man team with another two person team. The set seemed solid but not incredible to me. Funny either way.
We watched the remaining teams go and we all had a chance to vote at the end of the evening. While votes were counted, music played and some danced. Shawn and Starr thanked everyone for coming out and asked if we thought it was a good idea to do this. They then announce our teams as the winners. We got our pictures taken and we will probably be up on the Beyond Improdome myspace page soon. We will protect the title next week. After the show, we all got a drink at the Triple Crown.
This morning I had to work on LDAP stuff but my computer was crashed again. I banged on it like I was the Fonz and sure enough the computer started up. Such a touch. Tonight I am going to be a Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Tomorrow, I might perform at Improdome. Thursday it's Cage Match! The weekend is open but I have a feeling I will be out also. It's not supposed to snow for a while so I might see Mom to pick up the car. We will see.

Oh happy day but its cold
Good day, and it's really Monday. Yesterday I woke with a hangover from Vicki's party but it's wasn't all her fault since it was Shawn Wickens party right after that. Regardless, I wasn't running 100% at full speed. I showered up and got ready to see Tim and Brandon perform. I stopped at Micky D's for some lunch real quick and then ducked into the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Brandon said previously that he didn't invite anyone to the performance but he was happy that I was planning on coming. To my surprise I saw Chris arrive soon after I did. I waved to him to let him know where I was. During the show, I also saw Vicki show up. It is great to see that there is great support from all our improv buddies.
Tim and Brandon did great. Not only did they perform in character well but they were quick thinkers and provided great support work for one of the scenes that needed a little help. Chris, Vicki and I waited for Brandon and Tim to get out and we all went out for a drink and a bite at Mustang Sallys. Brandon, Vicki and Tim I think are all in practice groups I found out and I am not sure if I need to be in one nor do I know if there is room. After Mustang Sallys, we split up while reminding everyone about Danny's and Vicki's performance at Don't Tell Mama on Saturday.
Later in the evening I was exhausted. I decided to nap and wake up before Family Guy. Rob Corddry's new show was on before Family Guy and I was able to catch it. I have to say I wasn't happy with it. It felt like canned laughter and on par with shows like Everyone Loves Raymond or something worse. It was all canned laughter and predictable humor. Surprising for Seth MacFarlane, this didn't make me laugh and I enjoy his stuff. Speaking about comedy things, I found out Sexy Time had ended, I saw they had dates for March and April but I guess they will not fulfill that schedule.
Today I woke and my bedroom computer was having all sorts of crashes. Normally I wouldn't care but I run my Virtual Servers on this workstation. I was pretty stressed about it but I think when I titled my computer back on its side, it stayed up for a while. When I got to work I ssh'ed into it and it seemed fine. I patched my ssh source and recompiled for ldap support. I also added an openssh schema to my ldap server and was able to add key support. I made a key and added it to my ldap entry and it worked perfectly. Oh happy day.
Tonight after work, I have improv class. I am pretty excited to take class again tonight since I was bombarded with improv this weekend. After class I have to run home to get my pajamas for the pajama jammy jam at Beyond Improdome at
the PIT. Tomorrow is Harold Night and I told Curtis I will be there in case he still needs help with his computer.

From the Upper West Side to the Circus.
Wow, the head aches but I had fun. I met Max and Alaina on 85th and 3rd to head over to Vicki's party last night. When we got the Danny, Jeremy and Brandon were there. Danny and Brandon performed a sketch/lounge act they are working on and it was funny. Vicki brought out the picture they printed up for the short they were doing. Apparently I am a leaded of a cult in the movie. They hung the picture on the fridge for the duration of the party.
Everyone left the party about 1:00am and we were the last to leave. I felt bad leaving Vicki with stuff to clean but I am sure drunk people performing tasks like that can be dangerous. We left, and we headed to Rudy's on 44th and 9th where Shawn Wickens was celebrating his birthday. Inside Rudy's it was a dive and outside there were Harleys. We saw Starr inside and he said Shawn left. I called Shawn and he came and met us. We headed to Circus and it was fun. The bartenders were wise ass and liquor is cheap. There were al lot of improv comics and such. We played arcade bowling and drank. We left from here to go across the street for breakfast. The evening continued to be comical, including thug comedy hour on the other side of the restaurant.
I awoke this morning and called for the laundry to be picked up. I am seeing Brandon and Tim perform at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater at 2:30pm. I don't know if they want to go out later or not. I know Melanie is leaving for Australia today and I wish her luck. Tomorrow is a long day for me, so I probably will go to bed early. FYI, Danny and Vicki are doing standup at Don't Tell Mama on Saturday at 7pm.

What great weather...
Yesterday after work, I went to McCormacks to meet with my geek friends. We ate, drank and joked around till about midnight. Alaina, Max, Derden, Nathan and I took a cab out to Boulevard Tavern later in the evening.
A lot of the Raven regulars were at the Boulevard Tavern when we got there. They were having a fundraiser and there was a jar of money on the bar for donations. It wasn't as filled as I wished to be but anything helps I guess. There was a raffle for a $1 a ticket for Raven t-shirts. I bought three tickets and to my surprise, I won the first shirt. Bobcat and Billy showed up a little later and they along with Nathan and me, closed the bar. Billy had his car and ended up driving us back into Manhattan. It was funny when we almost stopped off at the Apple store one the way home. One moment was funny when Billy had us on the other side of the road, just a mistake, not reckless. The night ended with 2 Live Crew mp3s and watching stupid TV.
Today the weather was beautiful. I got some pizza with Bobcat and then I had to run to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Vicki, Danny and Chris were performing with their 301 class. I got to the theater and I saw Brandon and sat with him. Danny performed with the first group and was very funny. Chris and Vicki performed with the second group and did some hysterical scenes together. After the show Bandon and I waited for the cast to comeo out and gave congratulations. I said good bye and said I would see them at Vicki's party. Chris said he had to work and couldn't come tonight. I told him that just gets me Canked. Its a new word I used today.
Tonight I am meeting Max and Alaina at Vicki's party. Tomorrow its laundry time and shopping. Moday is work, class and performing.

TGIF - where's my appetizers
Yesterday after work, Liz met me at my place. As a matter of fact I was walking behind her for about 3 minutes till I realized she was in front of me. We hung around my place and she gave me her memory card from her camera to send Vicki her photos from the other night. We watched a little of Pimp my Ride and then she decided to go work out. I ordered food and sat and watched the Office and 30 Rock.
Later I ended up going to Upright Citizens Brigade to see Cage Match. As we started to line up outside it started downpouring. I was just wearing a sweatshirt, so I got soaked. One of the interns decided to move the line to the other side, so we wouldn't get soaked later on. I didn't see Alaina, she didn't know if she was going. When we got inside, Bastian was up first. Adam Pally and Ben Rodgers were calling the commentary. Bastian was ok, not as good as the Tuesday night performance. Reuben Williams was up in the second half and was really funny. They only had five team members Joe, Charie, Chris, Eric and Charlie. I think the score says it all, 52 - 13. Reuben Williamsis still champion.
Today I woke to horrible weather. It is dark and raining. I saw Vicki emailed me back about the pictures. I thinks she liked the pictures so I am happy. I uploaded some to my photos too. I found an umbrella in my apartment which I could have used last night but I brought it with me today, just in case.
Tonight I am meeting the geek gang at McCormacks for dinner and drinks. Later I am traveling to Boulevard for a fundraiser for the Raven. Tomorrow at 4:00pm, Vicki and Danny along with Chris and others, will be performing their grad show at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Then later that night, Vicki will be having a party and her parties are awesome.

Congratulations Vicki, you are a natural.
Yesterday after work, I met Liz at my house. We planned to meet Danny at the Broadway Comedy Club on 53rd Street. We arrived about 6:45pm and we saw Vicki and Danny inside. Vicki was nervous while Danny and I tried to calm her down. We puchased tickets ans Danny, Liz, and I got a table. I asked the waitress for a vodka-7up and she said that the vodka was made of wine. Confused, I then asked for a Rum and Coke.she told me the Rum was made out of wine. She then suggested I get a Long Island Iced Tea. I opted for a beer since I know that wasn't made of wine.
The host was long winded and fished for jokes, it was pretty bad. After several comics, Vicki was introduced. She lit up the stage like no other. She was so funny and well relaxed, she looked as if she was doing this for years. Everyone in the club liked her. I can't wait to see her perform a week from Saturday.
When we got the bill, it was pretty funny as well. A bottle of beer was $8. Thank you 2 drink minimum. The last comic, a woman who just turned pro, was doing her act as we were paying our checks but was really funny too. The night was great.
We chose to find some food so Vicki, Danny, Liz and I went to Country Grill. It was good food and pretty big portions. Danny bought a book and stationary for Vicki which was really nice. I have some kick ass friends. Danny and Vicki told me more of the short they shot. Apparently I am the star, but I am not in it yet. I can't wait to see it.
This morning I woke up and went to work, eager to show my LDAP setup to my boss. When I got to work I couldn't get into it via RDP and SSH would just hang. I had to run home and reboot the computer and virtual environment. On the way back, I noticed the DOT put up two '38th Street' signs.
Tonight I going to see Cage Match at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. It is Bastian vs. Reuben Williams. Bastian is a new team but was very funny on Tuesday. Reuben Williams is 5 - 0. Tomorrow I will be doing the monthly geek gathering at McCorrmacks. Later I will be heading to Boulevard Tavern for a fundraiser for Raven.
