Last day of February and on to Women's History Month

A good night of comedy, last night. I ended up going to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to see Harold Night. I saw Bastian for the first time and they were awesome. I saw Charlie Todd and we talked about the guy slandering Improv Everywhere. I saw Brett, Dave and Cici from my Monday improv class. Fwand had a great scene where they were trying not to fall asleep and it got pretty funny.

When I got home I called Liz and caught up with her. She didn't hear how our Beyond Improdome night went. I then watched a little of Jimmy Kimmel and ate some of the Combos I bought the other day. I put new batteries in my Brother P-Touch and labeled some DVDs. I then went to bed.

Today I dropped off my Netflix and other DVD rentals and decided to get off of a different stop of the subway to see if it was quicker, it wasn't. I was thinking about ordering from Quiznos and getting it delivered but I chose to get pizza and chicken fingers instead. I don't feel like walking around outside just yet even though its supposed to be a warmer day.

Later I am meeting Liz at my place and then we are meeting Danny at the Broadway Comedy Club. Tonight Vicki is going to be performing stand up for the first time. Later if there is time, I will watch some of LOST. Then my pal Phlip might want to perform at the PIT. Tomorrow, it is Cage Match at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, it will be Bastian challenging Reuben Williams. Friday there is the Port0/2600 meeting at McCormacks, later Friday I will head to Boulevard Tavern for a fundraiser for the Raven.

What happened? No Studio 60?

Last night after class I headed to the Triple Crown for a bite and drink. I had their chicken tenders which are tasty. After my second drink I felt it was time to go to the PIT to wait for Phlip and Vicki. It was only about five minutes and then Alex showed up, he was in last weeks winner team. Five minutes later, Phlip showed up. We talked outside until it started getting late, I decided to call Vicki because I wanted to be sure she was coming. Vicki showed up just before the doors opened.

We performed just a couple of teams before the last one. Shawn was hosting the night dressed as the Grim Reaper. He didn't talk at all the whole evening. He would just point. When we got called up, I introduced our group and asked for a line from a movie for a suggestion. Again, we got the line "You son of a bitch". As the books say, there are no bad suggestions, so I came out with Phlip and said, "This is like Deja Vu". We went on from there. I think we did well. Afterwards, Vicki and I stopped into the Triple Crown for a drink and catch up. She talked about her nervousness for her stand up appearance on Wednesday. I told her I would be there with Liz and Danny. She also told me something about the short they filmed and I was impressed.

When I got home, I saw the cable box shut off. It does that sometimes. It really ruins a Tivo experience when the is just a black screen. I noticed that there was no new Studio 60 last night. Another bummer. I just ended up going to bed.

This morning I woke up for work late. I forgot to take my phone off of vibrate, so I didn't hear the alarm. Iwhen I was walking to work, I was thinking of calling 311 to alert them of them about the signs that Bourne Ultimatum took down and didn't replace. I worked on LDAP stuff then I rebooted one of my virtual machines and it didn't come back up. This kinda ruined the work I was doing for a bit. I was going to try to find lunch at the Quizznos on 38th but I couldn't find it. The have delivery but I haven't tried getting anything delivered at work yet. I instead went to Taco Bell and I can't say I am happy about that.

After work I went home and relaxed for about 30 minutes. I watched a Seinfeld, had some Beef-a-Roni and called Liz. I didn't know if I was going to go to Harold night because I am kinda tired due to the long day I had yesterday. There was nothing on TV, and I didn't have the strength to watch the three episodes of 24 I haven't watched yet. So I decided to go to UCB and watch some comedy. After that I will call Liz and make plans for tomorrow. We are supposed to get together and then meet Danny for Vicki's stand up debut. Later that night I am meeting Phlip for some Improdome action. Thursday is Cage Match at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Friday is a fundraiser at Boulevard Tavern benefiting the Raven. The Raven has been closed for a year. Saturday Vicki, Chris and Danny are performing at UCB at 4pm. Later Vicki is having a party and Shawn Wickens is having a birthday celebration. I figure I am going to try to hit bith of them because Liz will be busy that night at her own functions. Well work tomorrow and don't forget to set the Tivo for LOST.

Monday Monday, go away, come again some other day.

Last night was Oscar night and since most things were repeats, I got stuck watching the awards. Liz headed out to a party in DUMBO at a bar but I needed rest for Monday, so I opted to stay home. After watching the unimpressive host but fabulous shadow dancers, Liz came back to my place. She told me about the party, I told her how the area used to be scary 12 years ago.

This morning I headed to work and saw they still didn't put the signs back on 38th Street, from that movie Bourne Ultimatum. I found out that my LDAP was working fine in my virtual environment but I found two challenges I have to solve, SSH keys in LDAP and /etc/group membership doesn't seem to be working properly. Since LDAP was pretty much working as a concept, I decided to get lunch at Popeye's. I got myself a spicy chicken sandwich, mashed potatoes and apple pie. I have to tell you that the customer service was awesome, they are really trying hard to please at 40th between 7th and 8th.

After work I headed to improv class. I saw Rebecca from my class and she told me about her birthday on the 18th. We went upstairs and I saw Phlip and told him about the past weekend stunt at Grand Cental. I helped move the chairs and tables for our class and prepared myself for more learning. One thing that I learned, it is ok for us to punch Shannon's boobs. I don't think she means it but it was funny in the context it was used. It probably would be funny for her next class to bring this us, oh to dream.

Right now I am i n the Triple Crown Restaurant having a drink and dinner. I am waiting to go to Beyond Improdome at the PIT. Vicki and Phlip are supposed to perform with me tonight and then I will be excited to get some sleep. Doing an 16 - 18 hour day is exhausting. Three more weeks of Monday classes and then I switch to Saturdays. Tomorrow is Harold Night at UCB and Wednesday, Danny, Liz and I are going to see Vicki do stand up at the Broadway Comedy Club. Thursday is Must See TV and Cage Match Y'all.

Munch the Sunday brunch

Yesterday was superfun. Early afternoon I met everyone for an Improv Everywhere mission in Bryant Park. We were to dress normally and bring a watch with a second hand. Friday we were at NBC filling out paperwork and were told to meet at Bryant Park.

When I got to the park there were close to two hundred people waiting. Charlie explained what was going to happen. He first explained that todays mission would be different and it was because today was being filmed for a pilot. We were told to synchronize our watches and we would meet at a Grand Central Terminal. At a certain time we would freeze in place for five minutes. After that, we would move for 10 seconds. Then we would freeze for another five minutes. He then told us to just be at Grand Central in time for the event. I saw Vicki at the park and we decided to hang with each other. We walked with some others and wasted some time before heading to the mission.

When we got to Grand Central, we visited the restrooms and went to the center of the terminal. When the time struck, Vicki was grabbing a schedule and I was reading a time table. We froze in place like this for five minutes. Its not easy being frozen for five minutes, especially in Grand Central. People will look at you closely, people will talk about you and people will purposely bump into you. When the five minutes were up, we heard applause as we unfroze. We then talked and moved for 10 seconds and then froze again. This time Vicki and I shook hands and froze like this for five minutes. A lady tried going between us, people were all around. During this mission people were snapping pictures left and right. We unfroze and left towards the subway.

I don't know how it looked but I hope it looked amazing. I know there was camera coverage by Agent Todd and Agent Rodgers along with NBC and others. I don't know when the video will be released, or if it will be ever. Even if there are photographs of the event, they will not show some people frozen since everyone is frozen in photographs.

Later in the evening I headed to Liz's. We headed to Daddy's, a bar in Williamsburg, to celebrate her friends birthday. Liz, her friend Aaron and I got to the bar at saw Gustav was just coming out of the bar. He said he was heading to some rave party but he had to get some whip cream. He said with the whip cream the admission to the party would be $15 instead of $20. We were curious, why all the trouble finding whip cream when the time and purchase price would equal the money saved. We went into the bar and got some drinks. After our first round we decided to leave since the bar was so crowded. Liz and I headed back to my place and watched Sarah Silverman's Jesus is Magic.

Today we went and got brunch at Glalaxy Diner. I got the paper on the way so I could read some flyers and cut some coupons. We then headed back to my place. I completed installing Fedora on Parallels on my Powerbook. Its ok, nothing special. I chatted with Noid on #socal for a bit. I was sorry to hear that I missed his birthday. I wanted to fly up so Seattle to see him. I haven't seen Noid since Defcon.

Tomorrow I have a busy work day. Later I have my improv class. In the evening I will be performing with Vicki and Phlip at Beyond Improdome at the PIT. Tuesday is Harold night.

It doesn't feel like a Saturday

Yesterday I worked on LDAP installing and getting healthy. A funny thing I saw when I went to lunch was I was walking back to the office and suddenly when I looked up, it said 41st street. I thought I walked too far. It seems someone changed the signs to shoot a movie. They have been filming there all week. I found out yesterday they were filming the third movie in the Bourne Identity saga, Bourne Ultimatum. I took some pictures of the fake snow and camera crew. Later I opted not to go out because I would have just made myself worse. I watched Las Vegas which ended in a cliff hanger of Mary purchasing a gun to kill her father. It was a quiet evening and Liz and I ended talking on the phone for a really long time about nothing.

Today I feel a little better but a little under the weather. I have a thing to be at one o'clock. Later I know Liz has a friends party we are supposed to attend. My friend Tibbie X invited me to a band set at Trash Bar in Brooklyn. I am messing around with my Powerbook trying to get Fedora on it. Tomorrow I have to clean this house, Monday work, class, performing with Vicki and Phlip.

Work week is licked but I am still sick

Yesterday I worked at home because of my sickness. I have setup two virtual servers and trying to get one authenticating off of the other along with replication. Its hars when you are sick and I think Fedora 5 doesn't totally run well on Virtual Server. I need to get more RAM for my laptop and better computer equipment at home.

Last night even though I was sick, I still enjoyed the Must See TV lineup on NBC. I wanted to go to Cage Match but I know I didn't need to over-extend myself and get sicker. It looked like it was a good match since Reuben Williams won but only by 14 votes. Next week they are battling Bastian, a new Harold team. I wound up drinking some Nyquil and passing out later in the evening.

Today I woke up feelingsick again. I decided to go to work but I didn't feel well enough to and everything I can do here I can do at home as well. Tonight Max, Alaina, Liz and I were supposed to go to the movies but I think that will wait. I have a thing to do tomorrow and I want to be healthy for it. Liz is also sick, I think I got her sick the other night. I will see her tomorrow night if she feels healthy. I might stop by her house if I feel well enough.

Thursday is Must-See-TV but also Just-Me-Sickie

Last night was a great episode of LOST but didn't really disclose any answers, just more questions. The others only work on the other island? Who is this sherriff? What does the marking mean? I give up. Just another week to get teased again. After LOST I felt myself getting sick again. Different than the last time. I don't know where I caught it. I took some Airbourne and some Asprain and went to bed.

This morning I felt really sick. I have no energy and my throat feels funny. I called work and said I would work from home. I only live 18 blocks from work so it wouldn't be a problem going in if I had to. The work I am doing with the LDAP stuff can be done in my Virtual Lab on one machine, it's just testing if the install documentation I wrote works with any Linux machine. This is so if I am not there and someone needs to troubleshoot, they will not need me for the simple stuff.

Tonight I wanted to go to Cage Match but with the illness and the weather (it's raining), I don't think I will. Tonight is a good TV night anyway. The Office is on and so is 30 Rock. I bought a optical cable for my TV to AV Receiver audio last night, so I can watch HDTV without listening it to the TV speakers, it was better watching LOST that way. This weekened I have to go to Best Buy or somewhere else, to get RAM for my LAPTOP. More RAM would be good. Tomorrow, the bunch of us, will be trying to see 'The Number 23' and then maybe catching dinner and drinks. Saturday I have a thing in the morning and I will blog about it later. I hope I get better for tomorrow, I want to go to work healthy.

How many humps you want? One hump or two?

Hey hey everyone. We are halfway through the week. I hope everyone is having a great warm day. Last night I went to Harold Night and I saw many friends. I got to see Chris, Brandon, Danny and Tim. Then when they left, I saw Vicki. Vicki told me they were not submitting the sketch they filmed for channel102.net this month. There was a problem syncing the video with the audio on the last render they did. It sucks with that bad luck but it's bad to submit something that isn't god quality. I can't make this Channel 102 screening because I have class. I learned that Vicki is performing a week from today at the Broadway Comedy Club and I know that Danny and I will be there. I don't know the exact time but I will post it when I know. I also know that Danny, Chris and Vicki will be performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater on March 3rd at 4:00pm. Tim and Brandon are performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater on March 4th at 2:30pm. I know Vicki is having a party after her performance at UCB and that should be fun, especially to catch up with friends that I am not longer in class with.

When I get home I would like to do one more install thing. I setup Microsoft Virtual Server with Fedora running in one Virtual Machine. I am setting up lab scenarios for LDAP and Subversion. Tonight LOST is on, did you think I forgot? This should be a good one since last week sucked. I guess Liz will be tortured by me drooling at the TV for more secrets. Tomorrow I have a definite interest in Cage Match, Reuben Williams has gone 4 - 0. Friday, Max, Alaina, Liz and I will see the movie 23. Saturday there is a party in Brooklyn I will attend. Happy Hump Day, enjoy the weather.

Pancake Tuesday?

Well thats one way of saying Fat Tuesday. Today is Fat Tuesday and I couldn't really care that much. I have been working on a bunch of computer stuff. Today is getting warmer, right now it is 46 degrees. Tomorrow will be warmer and so on. I was watching NY1 today and I do have to say , like my friend Jen and I used to, I get a kick out of watching Pat Kiernan. He is a real dry humored but funny news person. Today he was reading a hate mail from someone to him and it was just funny. I usually flip betweeen NY1 and CNN Headline News in the morning. I dressed lightly because I thought it was going to be warm today but not as warm as I dressed for.

Last night I watched my Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip but I didn't watch 24 yet. Nothing real interesting on the tube tonight. I won't be home until late anyway. I have tons of work to do anyway so if there is no TV I will just work. I would like to catch up on some reading and I know I should have another DVD in the mail to copy.

I have been listening to Atari Teenage Riot to get through the day. I cannot find any Lolita Storm on the net which is really wierd. I don't know what happened to the stuff I used to have. I might have to try a regular record store or Best Buy. I want to go to Best Buy tonight anyway to see if I can get some RAM for my laptop. Tonight I am also going to go to Upright Citizens Brigade Theater for Harold Night. Wednesday I am not sure about performing. Thursday is Cage Match and Friday there is a good movie coming out called 23.

Monday, February 19, 2007

I wonder what percentage of people really worked today.

Last night I sat home, caught up on some TV like Las Vegas, Family Guy and Bill Mahar. I have to say that Las Vegas has gotten pretty lame. It used to make me long for the town but I think the writing has gome downhill. I then has some Peanut Butter Cup ice cream and went to bed pretty early.

Today I have been playing with my bedroom computer and installing Microsoft Virtual Server to put a bunch of Linux machines up. I am playing with some LDAP stuff and Subversion configs. It has been taking up most of my time today. One thing that was distracting me was the many cars honking outside my window. I know traffic can be annoying but there is a Don't Honk sign right down the street. It is punishable by fine but no one enforces it. I am thinking about making a sing to put below it to say Or Have Stuff Launched At Your Vehicle.

Tonight I don't know if I will go to The PIT to perform. I emailed Phlip but didn't get an answer. 24 and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip are on. I am starting to lose interest in 24 also. I don't know why it was so good in the first two episodes and now its just bleh. Maybe they blew their load too early. Tomorrow is work and then Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. I am also crossing my fingers for the warm weather.

Two for One Birthday Celebrations

What a blog-a-riffic evening. I got showered and ready to go to Liz's birthday party at Harefield Road. I text'ed Alaina to see if she would be ready around 8 o'clock. She called right as I text'ed her. She explained she didn't feel well and thought it would be a bad idea to go out. I decided that I would go to the party alone. When I got to the bar, I saw Liz and some of her friends. I was introduced to her brother, her cousin and a lot of friends. All off her friends were a pleasure to meet. A little later, I text'ed Gustav ro come down to the bar. He replied to me about an hour later saying that he would be at the bar after midnight.

Gustav arrived later and he had a shirt that I let him borrow about six months ago. He also said he had my LOST DVDs but he could drop them off at Liz's sometime. He was pretty rude most off the evening and didn't seem like he wanted to talk to me. He came down with Anna, Ben and Randy, I think because he wanted not to deal with Liz or me. At the end of the evening he said good bye to me but in an unfriendly manner. Liz and I wrapped up the evening pretty late and walked back to her place with a giant cake and didn't slip on the ice that was everywhere.

In the morning I saw that Gustav emailed me and Liz. He apologized for being rude, I think that was big of him and I replied saying we should do lunch soon. Liz and I decided to have brunch at Harefield Road. I for my hat and borrowed shirt there past evening and wanted to see if they founded it. The brunch at Harefield was so-so. They didn't really provide a lot of food and the service was a little slow. I don't think we will go back there for a while for brunch. We watched a litlle of Zach Galifianakis and The Office. I also removed some programs on Liz's computer to free up some space. We later went to dinner at some Mexican place in Williamsburg where Liz had pancakes and I had buffalo wings. I got home just after 9 o'clock. Going to watch Family Guy and catch up on some TiVo

Half-Off all Presidents this Weekends

President's Weekend has started and its a three day weekend for most of the working class. At work, two minutes before I was supposed to leave, I finally got a LDAP GUI tool to work for adding and removing users. I was so happy but I had to shoot out the door to meet Xris. We decided to meet at Smith's on 44th which used to be the watering hole for Me, Xris and Gustav when we used to work at MTV.

Xris showed up soon after I arrived and we talked about people, the past and other fun things. We had three rounds before calling it a night there. We said to each other that we would try to lunch soon, since we work so close to each other. On the way out, Xris asked were Peter and Paul were, bartenders from our not so distant past. They replied that Paul worked across the street at Emmett's. I decided to hit Emmett's and say hi and Xris was going to go home. I hung out with Paul for another several rounds.

After the bar I went home and I called Liz. She invited me over to watch a movie, Marie Antionette. I said I would come over. One the way, I went to Subway for a quick meatball sub. Most of it ended up on me and the floor. I got to Liz's place and we watched the movie, I ended up falling asleep.

Today I have to put my laundy in to be washed and clean my apartment a bunch. Tonight I will call Alaina to see when she wants to cab to Brooklyn for Liz's party. Monday I have off, yay.

Happy Birthday Kim Jong-Il

Another cold day in the hood. Last night I didn't do anything except watch TV. I was supposed to see Cage Match but I was too tired I guess. During the day I worked on creating a new LDAP server and I was having errors come up. Well the problem was that I was copying some command lines from a web page and sometimes when people make web docs, they have different characters. This one had extended hyphens on it that I didn't notice so when I copyied it to my command line I would get errors after execution. It ran me in circles.

When I got home, I planned on continuing my work but I didn't have the gumption. I decided to watch The Office, which was super funny, and 30 Rock which was just OK. I ordered some beef with broccoli from the local chinese place. It was just ok also, texture made me think it was beef from a not so respected animal low on the food chain.

This morning I noticed it was Kim Jong-Il's birthday and he is one guy who has a bigger birthday party than me. I wanted to take off for it but I decided to go to work. I got to work and the door to my office area was closed and it took me almost a half hour to get the door unlocked and seated. Then when I tried booting my system into Linux, I got this critical temp alert and it shut down. It has never happened in Windows so I don't know what the deal is. Maybe a bad software module.

Today I plan on making some company specific documentation for LDAP and Subversion. After work I was thinking to try to get an after work drink with Xris, I haven't seen him in years I think. Tonight since it is still freezing I don't know what to do. I thought about catching Death by Roo Roo or something. There is always Boulevard Tavern also. We shall see. Happy Birthday Kim Jong-I'll.

Valentine's Day made feel cheated.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day but it didn't have all the loving feeling that Hallmark promises. I got home from work fine but the pedestrians tried to screw that up as much as possible. They would walk so cautiously because of the big piles of snow. Meanwhile it was 20 degrees. Oh how I long for Spring. I didn't bother trying to go out since it was yucky out. LOST was on so I decided to settle with that and even that wasn't so good. 90% of the episode was a Desmond flashback. It took them that long what Desmond's affliction is and that he is trying to save Charlie but Charlie will die. Sucky.

Today it is freezing and messy out with the leftovers of snow. I didn't look at the forecast because it will probably be shitty for a while. Tonight I want to go to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to see Cage Match, Rueben Williams are still champs. My improv teachers assistant is in Creep, the team that is challenging Rueben Williams. Friday seems like it will be a slow night but maybe I will get that optical audio cable I need for my HD setup. Saturday is Liz's birthday party. I mailed Alaina and we said we would cab it over together. Don't forget, Office and 30 Rock are on!

I forgot to blog yesterday, here is your dose for today.

Monday night I went to Beyond Improdome. Me and Phlip were there but we needed one more person. We did get a volunteer that is familiar to us. Instead of suggestion from the audience, we had to listen to short wave radio for 10 seconds to get our scenes started. It was kind of interesting that way. We did ok and had lots of fun. Afterward, I was tired.I tried going straigh to bed after talking to Liz and wishing her a happy birthday since it was after midnight.

Tuesday when I went to work I was tired from the night before. I did already make plans for the evening to meet Liz for dinner. When I was leaving work I informed Liz that I had to run home first to get changed and drop off the two laptops I seem to have to carry. I met Liz at Sushi Samba on Park Ave. Its on of the places she likes and it was her birthday so it of course wasn't a problem for me. I got the Rio Grande and it was awesome, a plate of three meats of my choice. Delicious. Later I showed Liz the movie Eurotrip since she had not seen it. Now she understands my ringer and mail alerts.

It started showing last night but has continued on today. Its a mess and I had to walk through the snow to get to work. It seemed no one shoveled anything. I slipped in the middle of the street and looked as if I was going to fall. I got to drop off my old phone at mailboxes etc to ship out. Tonight LOST is on and I am excited. There is no Improdome tonight, there is a key party instead. March 5th there will be a Pajama Jammy Jam Beyond Improdome. That will be neat. I can't wait to relax at home tonight and dig into my Cookie Dough ice cream.

Long long day and it will happen in another two weeks

Yesterday I came home and was kind of tired. I talked with Liz a couple times. I got stuff ready for work on Monday and then I ordered some Chinese food. I planned on watching Family Guy but I fell asleep for a bit. I then got up a little after to go to the store and got some ice crème. There was nothing really happening in the apartment, just a bit of slacking.

Today I got to work a 10:00am and configured my systems to get email and such. I am learing all about the setup. For lunch I got me some Papaya dogs, yum. I am also near a White Castle and Church's.

After work I had to be at Improv Class within minutes. It was a good class, not all of my scenes were good but I did have fun with some of the group games and stuff. I asked Phlip what he was planning to do after class and he said he was going to UCB and then he was going to meet me at Improdome.

I think I am going to run home for a minute to check the mail for Liz's presents and put my laptops in a safe place till tomorrow. Tomorrow is Liz's birthday and I will take her out to dinner. Tomorrow is also Harold night too ao I hope I cansee at least a team or two.

Time to trim that hair.

I am currently listening to Pantera and waiting for the L train so I can go home for a bit Last night there wasn't much to do. Alaina's daughter and Max were both sick. Tina was tired and went to bed at 7:00pm. Liz and I talked several times and we decided later to watch some movies at her place. I brought about seven or eight movies to choose from. We both picked Kinsey since we both haven't seen it yet. It was good and held my attention even though it was based on history. I usually do not like historical movies.

This morning I woke up later than initially planned. I decided to take the shuttle bus from Grand Ave since the MTA is again screwing us. There were so many people on the bus we almost didn't fit. I don't know how the MTA gets away with such lackluster service. I got to the Lorimor station and got on the train. I figure I should be home bhy 12:30 and then that gives me time for a shower. I then have to head down to Patricia Fields to get my haircut. I didn't make any more plans than that but tomorrow I have work. Then I have class, then I will be performing at the PIT. Tuesday is Liz's birthday. Wednesday I will be sans Valentine. Thursday, Cage Match sounds fun. Friday nothing and that's all I know.

Good beginning, but a weird ending

Yesterday after I found my missing wallet, I headed to Liz's place. On the way there, I received a all from Brandon. He apologized for not playing with us at Improdome. I told him I knew that he goes to work early and that interferes. He asked me for my permission to display my image. It turns out that Brandon and Vicki are writing a show for Channel 102. He said they are filming episode one but if they film episode two, they will have me in it. I am supposed to be the leader of a cult and they are making posters with my image on them. Late, Liz and I hung around for a bit, I was kind of hungry. We decided to go down the street to a place called Cono's. The food was delicious and I had a good time. We then spent sometime back at Liz's house and planned going to Larry Lawrence's after, a bar on Grand St.. It was my friend Becca's birthday. The bar was cool and it was nice atmosphere, that was until it got very crowded. There seemed to be a bunch of jerks and I felt bad for Becca that she had to worry about crashers in her reserved area. We had two drinks there and decided to go back. The L train was not running so I walked back with Liz. When we got to Liz's we went through a talk and it wasn't fun. I ended up walking back to the Lorimor stop and taking it back to the City. I didn't sleep much at all, stomach is turning.

I am phsyched to be blogging from my new phone. I am going to see some friends tonight, I wish the weather was warmer. I got to see Best Week Ever and it was funny, they touched on Anna Nicole's death but covered the insulting news coverage of the whole thing. They came out with the autopsy report yesterday and they said it was inconclusive. They are waiting results from the toxicologist. Anyway, I have to do things here at the house and some mail to wait for.

Thursday must have been good, my head says so.

Yesterday day was planned for nothing but fun. First I called t-mobile and told them my MDA was not working like it should. The lady told me that they would send out a replacement phone and it was covered under warranty. I then went to meet Jen for dinner at Typhoon. The food was good but very rushed and we were done with dinner quickly. It was good that I caught up with Jen because the last time I saw her was back at the beginning of January. I then met up with Alaina for a drink at Molly Wee. We talked about her new job and other things. We then went to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater for Cage Match. It was good and Rueben Willaims with only Joe Wengert, Chris Kula and Charlie Sanders beat Mother hands down. I then left Alaina and went to Revival and saw Melanie and closed the night.

Today I received my new phone and that made me really happy. I also thought I lost my wallet and ended up calling the TLC and reporting it to only find it and hour or so later. I am currently heading to Liz's place and later it is Becca's birthday. It should be fun. Tomorrow the exterminator comes and Sunday I am getting my hair cut.

Dinner, Office, 30 Rock, Drinks and then a Cage Match.

Last night, Liz came out to meet me after work. We went to get some food at The Dish. She wanted breakfast food and luckily had some. After eating we just hung out at my house until LOST came on. She watched the LOST Survivor Guide with me and I think that caught her up just enought to enjoy the LOST episode on right after it. For me, it was a good fix to see LOST again. It has been three months since the last episode and it's not even summer. I hope they end the series this season, there are too many unanswered questions and they continue to create more.

Today, I had to buy something and visit the bank. I wanted to see the Snowboarding in Union Sqaure but I am not enjoying the cold. I watched some Shutterbugs today and they were pretty funny, but funnier than the Human Giant preview I think. Tonight I have plans tonight to meet Jen for dinner. After that I am meeting Alaina for a drink, then we are heading to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to see Cage Match. Tonight it is Mother vs. Rueben Williams and so far Rueben Williams is 2-0 for the season. Late tonight I will get to watch The Office and 30 Rock on my TiVo. Tomorrow is Friday and I didn't make any plans.

The time has come and LOST is back!

Yes folks, today is the day LOST comes back from it's winter break. Very exciting.

Yesterday after work, Liz and I met up and went to Mustang Harry's for dinner. I enjoyed the burger but not the onion rings and the architecture was weird. We didn't spend alot of time with each other because I was going to watch Harold Night at the UCB Theater. The weather was very cold and Liz and I went our own ways after walking two blocks. I then continued down to the theater but no one was in line yet. I didn't want to freeze outside so I went home for five minutes to waste some time. I then ventured back to the theater and went inside. It wasn't crowded until halfway through the show. I don't know if the was because of the weather or the new format Harold Night is doing. Harold Night is one show of five groups instead of two shows of two groups. Come and go as you please. I saw my friend Tim from D.C. for a bit but he was the only one I recognized out of the crowd.

Today I woke up later than I want. I am going to clean my office area of my bedroom. That is the plan anyway. I also read a insane plan from a state senator that he wants to initiate fines for using iPods, Cell Phones and Blackberrys while crossing the street. Tonight is Improdome but I haven't heard from anyone else. I sent an email to everyone but Danny said he has tickets to something else. I sent an email to support of Emoze http://www.emoze.com because the email isn't working as well as it should be. A little problem with associating email contacts.

Tonight is the return of LOST. So I will most likely be glued to the TV for a bit. Tomorrow is Cage Match and I will send out an email to Alaina and Max and see what they think.

Jack Bauer save us from the next 24 hours of cold!

It is Tuesday and it's still cold even though it's warmer than yesterday. Last night I headed to class and it was so cold I jumped into a cab to travel the 11 or so blocks. I certainly need a hat and a scarf. My class was really good. Shannon O'Neil is such a good teacher. Oh my god, I got caught brown nosing in my blob. Anyway, I enjoyed playing with Dave and then with Rebecca. They seem very capable to think very quickly and play on their toes well. I did enjoy my scenes with them. Phlip and I debated whether or not we would go play at Beyond Improdome but we decided that we would go if Vicki went.Vicki wasn't going to show up so we both opt'ed out. I got some food from Rays and pigged out. You know, feed a cold and starve a fever.

Today I feel a little better than I did yesterday. I went to T-Mobile to help me with my woes on my MDA cell phone. They are not help in the store and ended up referring me to an 800 number. I am a little disappointed using my old Imate SP3i Smartphone but I have figured out somethings to help me out. I didn't like the fact it wouldn't copy my Notes from Outlook but I found a program called Smartnotes. It is a 30 day demo but I probably will pay the $20 if I have to use it longer. The other problem that I had was the email. The Smartphone will only check it every 15 minutes and sometimes gets stuck on a certificate issues. I wanted somethin better. I read about this service back in November, I think. The service is called Emoze and it's a free Push service for Smartphones and Windows Mobile Phones. It's pretty cool except with the email signature it puts on the end of every email you send from your phone to the push service. I am going to into which process holds the signature but it is most likely on the phone's program because it's not in the registry on the PC with the Outlook client. I will end up posting an update about it if I figure it out. Its just great not having to sync the phone to update Calendar and it's awesome getting my Gmail more reliable. It does pose another problem with the Check Interval always on. It will lock up the GPRS connection so the browser doesn't not work. If I sign off Emoze, it will let me visit sites in my browser.

Tonight I was planning on seeing Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Tonight they have five teams worth of improv. A little longer than usual but I will make my best attempt to make all the teams. Liz and I are going to meet up after she gets out of work and going to grab some dinner. Hopefully the it won't get too cold tonight. Tomorrow, I have to buy a new coat and try to get my hair cut.

Brrrrrr. It's so cold here... How cold is it?

Waking up this morning to 10 degree tempatures is not fun. It sure got cold last night even though last night felt cold as well. Liz and I ended up going to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to see Assscat 3000. It was great especially since there were some great players last night such as Amy Pohler, Jack McBrayer, Jason Mantzoukas and other names I forget. It was a very funny night and I saw a couple people that I know from other events.

We got back to my place through the cold weather. We decided not to go out for dinner and just order in. It was only 9:45 but the first restaurant we called was already dome with delivery. We ended up calling a local place and it was just so-so but a good amount of food for the money. We also ended up watching the Family Guy marathon on Cartoon Network.

Today I feel a little under the weather. It might be staying in the cold and the weekend bar hopping. I took some Robotusin but I might have to chase it with some Tylenol. Today I have class and I will be at the PIT later on. Tonight is also time for 24 and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

Back to the grind

Saturday night I went to meet Liz at her place. We took the train to Greenpoint and arrived at the bar Lost and Found (formally know as LuLu's). Liz was going for her friends birthday party. The bar was not in a bad spot and had a huge space. It was suprising how large the bar was. They had skeeball and a bowling video game along with other fun stuff. They give you free hotdogs with the purchase of a drink. The only complaint was the bad wasn't terribly good and were very loud. I was introduced to some of Liz's friends and it seemed everyone had a good time. We ended up going home after a couple hours.

Today Liz and I got some brunch and headed to the Barne's and Noble for some books and magazines. Tonight we are going to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to watch Asssscat. It is Superbowl Sunday, so we are wondering what Asssscat will be like. We wonder if Amy Pohler or Horatio Sans will be there. Tomorrow I have class and later Phlip, Vicki and I will perform I hope.

Friday Night Sights

Last night was fun because I ended up meeting Akira, Jo, Max, Vince, Alaina and Nathan at McCormack's. We talked about the ATHF advertising campaign, porn and the banning of the 'N' word. After drinks and food, we ended up splitting. Max, Alaina, Nathan and I left for Boulevard Tavern. There I met up with Liz. Boulevard Tavern had a good amount of people, too many people to mention here. We played Rock and Role bingo and they had a good buffet even though I already ate. Liz won a $20 bar tab from bingo and I won a cool ashtray. We left a while after last call.

I surfed the net a bit today and copied some Greatest American Hero DVDs. I heard from a aquaintence Nikita about intrest in doing some theatersport for Defcon. I also heard from Rebecca Corry that she will be on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen on Monday, check local listings. I am heading out to see Liz and head to a bar called LuLu's for a party. Tomorrow I have to do laundry badly. Monday I have class and I am probably performing with Phlip and Vicki.

Happy Birthday Boulevard Tavern

Last night I watched the Office and 30 Rock but I didn't go to see Cage Match. It ended up being cold while Max and Alaina were not going to be in attendance. So I ended up reading, I played with some php stuff at home, XSS filtering.

At 11:10pm there was this news story on hackers manipulating the money on TransitChek Credit Cards. I was interested since they plugged the story a bunch of times. The story ended up being pretty low rent. The technique appears to be a simple credit card generator used to create numbers to login with and then transfer the money to another account. The problem was, they don't check for CVV and they don't lock out accounts after bad logins. I was chatting with Bobcat as we were watching the story and we both were disappointed. I told Bobcat I would meet up with him tomorrow.

I checked on the Cage Match scores because it happened to be two of my favorite teams battling, fwand and Rueben Williams. Apparently, Rueben Williams put on a hell of a show because the scores were 56 to 8. The next challenger is Mother. On another note, Last Comic Standing is having open call auditions on March 21st at 9:00am, who knows if I will be there or not. I told my friend Canada Anne about it, since she got her 15 seconds of national fame last year.

I read an interesting story on CNet about Vista and iPod users. Apparently if you install Vista, it has a chance of ruining your iPod experience. Symptoms include: not being able to play purchased music, not properly transfering contacts or photos, and connecting an iPod to Vista can corrupt your iPod. Who is to blame for such a problem? A company changing its architecture so much where programs do not work properly or a company that doest keep up with changes on computers? It might be a question, who is looking toward the future.

Tonight I know at least I will see Bobcat, Alaina and Max when I meet everyone for dinner. I don't know who will go out to Boulevard Tavern.

From the Office to 30 Rock

What a good night for television. 30 Rock and The Office are on. Later I will end up going to Cage Match.

Last night was a good night. I ended up going to Kanvas for a happy hour gathering. It was ok in the beginning but then it got filled with a yuppie crowd. I got a call with a good job offer from a company I wanted to work with. Which was awesome. When we got our bill, the drinks were not priced for happy hour. We went back to my place and ordered some chicken from Dirty Bird to Go. The chicken was good and the mac 'n' cheese was tasty. Later we went to the PIT for Improdome. I saw Phlip walk in but his team was defending their title. I didn't see anyone that I knew, so we ended up going to bed after watching some Upright Citizens Brigade episodes.

Today, I told the company I would take the offer. I have been doing stuff around the house. I plan on going out but I don't know if Max and Alaina will join me. Tomorrow I have a party at my work, I have to meet my friends at Port 0 and then I will be meeting Liz at Boulevard Tavern. Thank God for the Weekend huh?
