Hump Day, almost through the week.
So its Wednesday and I hear you saying "Where's the update Pickles?". The answer is, I don't know. I will catch you up now.
Monday was a busy day. Most notable was improv class and performing at the PIT. It was super chilly out and I made it to class and went right up, not wasting time outside. Phlip wasn't in class but it seemed we had a full class otherwise. I did a couple scenes in class that were funny but again I have lots of learning to do also. We did get to do invocations which a lot of my friends know I like.
I went to get something to eat after class but it looked like I would be solo. I got some food at the Triple Crown. I had some chicken fingers which were good since they tasted very fresh and I had some pasta with marinara sauce which was not great. I headed to the PIT to ready myself to perform. It wasn't until 11pm when I started wondering if I was to have a partner. I text'ed Vicki to see if she was coming, I then called soon after. She said she was on the way. I was watching the opening when Starr went to pick the first team and in was me. He said it was unfair to see us go first since we go first so many times, so he picked again. Right after the first team, Vicki showed up and we went 3rd. We were ok, we didn't win.
Tuesday, I signed my new lease and watched a couple movies. I caught up on 24, which is getting slower after the first two episodes. I watched the Strangers with Candy movie on PPV but I was disappointed. Some of the key actors were changed (e.g. The brother, the father, Orlando). It didn't work well in a movie format, fans would be better with the series alone.
Later in the evening I went to see Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Two of my favorite teams where performing, fwand and 1985. It was a funny evening and I saw people from my class like Rebecca, Dave, Tim and also my friend Vicki. I also saw some people that I know from the PIT and Tim from DC. The show was great and the beer was cold. I came home and watched the snow fall.
Today is chilly. I went to Fedex to rush my lease to the landlord. I have to get some checks but Citibank is saying it takes 10 to 14 days, yuck. I have plans to go to Kanvas with Liz and later I might perform, but I don't know. Tomorrow is Cage Match and I think I will email Max and Alaina. Friday is Port0 meet and Boulevard Tavern is having a one year anniversary party.

Weekend Recap
Friday night I was going to head to Death by Roo Roo but I saw a bulletin by Curtis Gwinn that he was not going to be there. Liz and I decided to go get some dinner and ended up at Restivo. The food was good and service was ok. I talked with Alaina and we planned on meeting her down at Mo Pitkins for Sexytalk, the show Curtis was going to perform in. When we got there, Alaina texted me that she wasn't feeling well and wouldn't be meeting us.
The show at Mo Pitkins was so-so. The first comedian was very funny. The cowboy from the Village People was not entertaining at the least. Curtis was so funny with his stories. The night was just weirdly put together. The lineup felt out of order and the hosts needed to learn how to perform skits with fluid action and from memory as if it was an experience. Treats were given out right before Curtis, making everyone chat, which was a disturbance during the act Curtis was performing.
After the show, Liz and I walked up Avenue A and checked out the changes. Raven still has no residential tenants and is all boarded up. No evidence that Korova was ever there. I thought about Tina and her dog, I haven't see them since before Thanksgiving. Liz and I called it a night after watching some Mr. Show.
Saturday I had brunch with Liz, it was ok except for the muffins being stale. I had to get ready because I had to meet Vicki for Danny's stand-up performance at the Laugh Lounge. The comics were ok, Danny did great. The winner was this guy Mitch, he was funny in a disturbed manor. Danny, Jeremy, Rodney, Vicki and I ended up going to Teany after the show. After eating, every declared the evening over. It wasn't midnight yet. I ended up at Revival but only stayed for one drink. I then went home.
Today I got up and packed some items. I am currently heading to Liz's house. We will probably hang out for a bit. Tomorrow I have a bank run to do, I have class and then I perform at the PIT. Such a busy day.

Who the **** is Ralph?
Damn its cold, last night the temperature dropped down to 9 degrees, with the wind chill making it colder. Liz and I went to grab a bite at Chat and Chew. Then we attended the gallary opening of Travis Ruse (
http://www.travisruse.com) in Union Square. The pictures were awesome, a bit overpriced and the wine was eh.
There was nothing but repeats on TV last night. I ended up going over some C++ stuff to pass the time. I was going to go to Cage Match but it was really to cold to stand in line. The attendance was a little low over at Cage Match I guess because the vote was 42 to 12. Rueben Williams won.
Tonight its going to be cold again. Liz and I will probably stay local. I haven't seen Death by Roo Roo in a while so it might be fun to see that. If we do go see Death by Roo Roo, I might have to stay for Jammin with Ralph. Its a improv with strangers thing. Saturday I have to see Danny do his stand-up performance at the Laugh Lounge. Sunday I wanted to see Asssscat but they sold out early. I haven't seen Max and Alaina for a week, so it would be nice to catch up. I t was Nicole's birthday yesterday, so happy birthday Nicole.

Two more weeks til LOST
Last night was fun. I decided to go to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to attend Harold Night. I was meeting Tim there for the 8 O'clock show. When I arrived, I saw a different Tim, Tim from DC. We talked about his class and other junk. We waited in line and then the other Tim showed up. The teams that performed were Kill Your Darlings, Creep, Tantrum, and Beverly Hills. It was a fun evening. Later I ended up seeing Phlip with his girlfriend and then I saw Rebcecca from class. I also saw Ci'Ci from class but I don't think she saw me. When I got home I ordered some food.
This morning I got up and sent out my laundry and slacked a bit. I have stuff to do tomorrow. I have to buy a new dress shirt. I then have an appointment later in the afternoon. I got a lease renewal in the mail but I don't know if I will renew or not. It's not that I can't afford my place but it is expensive. I think I will look around but I have to make a decision by February 3rd or so.

Still going... Even when sick, tommEE keeps going
Yesterday, I still didn't feel myself but I had stuff to do. I had a meeting at 1:00pm which went well. I then went home to get some rest because I had improv class at 6:30. I saw Phlip at class but the other 13 students, I never saw before. It was weird because I think there are more women in my class then men. It might be because the teacher is Shannon.
Class was fun, it was educational too. I didn't do any scenes with Phlip because I wanted to play with people I haven't played with. I think everyone in the class is talented. It feels different than my last class.
After class Phlip and I got some dinner at Triple Crown. We had some time to wasted before Beyond Improdome at the PIT. When we finished, we headed over. We saw Rebecca on the way in and then when we got inside, everyone was there. It was a good crowd. Phlip and I were called up second. We ended up doing very quick, 30 second scenes. We were just having fun on stage and the audience seemed to be enjoying it also. I was surprised that we didn't win the night but it wasn't important either.
When I got home, I got to watch 24 and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I was feeling pretty ill, so I took some cough syrup and Tylenol. I didn't get to sleep til 4:00am because of my ailment.
I woke up this morning feeling yucky so I had some chicken soup and asprin. Nothing really on TV today. I am thinking about hitting Harold Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade tonight if I feel up to it. Tomorrow I will perform in Improdome at the PIT. Thursday there is a photo exhibit for Travis Ruse (http://travisruse.com). Friday I don't have any plans but there is an Improv Jam at the Upright Citizens Brigade at Midnight.

Weekend Update er... almost
So there has been a lag in my blogging. Reasons for this are contained below. Hell I am just catching up on my 24. After I got home from Vegas I have been sick as a dog. Wednesday evening I think I had food poisoning and I puked 12 times, it was an adventure. I have had this cough and fever thing for days.
Thursday I was scheduled to be on a Talk Show with Bob Wiltfong at the PIT. I got there and saw Threat perform with Liz, Max and Alaina. I was called out to guest halfway through the show. Bob addressed me about my hacker beginnings and adventures. I brought a clip of me talking to the transvestites at AVN 2005. It was funny and I think everyone enjoyed my appearance. Afterwards Liz, Max, Alaina and I went to Lasagna for a late night dinner. I was having such a good time, I forgot that Cage Match tournament was going on. Hot Sauce won the championship.
Friday I headed to Brooklyn and ate at Wombat with Liz. I do have to say they have a talented chef there. I was surprised at the result for it being in the area it was. The price was a little expensive for everyday eating but the drink was stiff and the Roast Pork I got was just delicious. The accompanying mashed sweet potatoes and spinach.
Saturday I felt sicker that I was feeling the night before. I bought some chicken noodle soup and ginger-ale. I ate some soup and hoped for the best. Late Liz came over and we watched a bunch of Mr. Show episodes as well as Run Ronnie Run.
Today I slept pretty hardcore. I usually don't ever sleep through thr morning but I did. Later Liz and I had brunch at the Chelsea Square Diner and was so-so. I had to get some soup spoons, bowls and mugs so we ended up going to Bed Bath and Beyond. We would have gone shopping elsewhere but the weather was pretty miserable.
Tomorrow I have a meeting at 1:00pm. Later I have improv class at Upright Citizens Brigade. Then late night I hope that at least Phlip and I will perform at Beyond Improdome at the PIT at 11:00pm.

A whole lotta blogging to do
So people, time to update. NYC'ers got to see the snow this morning. It didn't stick to the roads but it did stick to the buildings. Anyway, everyone deserves to hear an update about the Birthdaycon.
Thursday afternoon I headed to the airport as nervous as I would be about flying. I checked in at the counter and got my first class tickets to Las Vegas. I went to the bar near my gate and got a drink. Funny thing about JFK American Airlines gates, I guess you are allowed to walk around with booze.
After a few cocktails I boarded the plane. To my surprise there was no pre-flight cocktail. We took off and I listened to the sounds of the airline's music system with my noise reduction headphones.
The takeoff wasn't bad at all and as soon as we were at 20,000 feet, the drink orders were taken. I was then given my drink in nice glassware a bowl of warm cashews and almonds. A nice hot towel was very much needed and refreshing. The was no movie since we were connecting in Dallas but there was a meal for first class passengers. I chose the pizza and had a warm cookie for dessert.
We landed in Dallas late and I ran for my other plane. This plane was older and first class felt like my first car front seat. Again, I got hot towels, nuts, drinks and more food. Lets put it this way, by the time I landed I was full and drunk.
We landed and I saw I had voice mail from Lizzie. I called and met Lizzie and El_Jefe at baggage claim. We them called Bink to pick us up. After a quick check in at the Excalibur, we headed to Dive Bar.
At the Dive Bar I saw Trika and Nate. We ended up drinking a lot. Nate gave me a free tab. It was so good for a first night. Eric came in later to do the sound. I didn't get to see Jamiegrrrl but she had to stay home with the kids. It was ok since I learned that she and Bink had a babysitter for all Saturday. Matt from DAV was there and Banshee showed up later. Gil showed up with Toni and I believe that Bink drove us back to the hotel but I am not really sure... Maybe it was Matt, sorry guys.
Friday Lizzie and I woke up and El_Jefe slept. After Lizzie finished up some work we headed to Mandalay Bay for some lunch. We stopped at the House of Blues and lunch was ok. El_Jefe called but we were already finished. On the way back, in the elevator, some young woman was laughing. She said it was funny, she originally got in the wrong elevator. I saw she was going to the 18th floor and we were going to the 2nd. When I got off I pushed all the buttons and said to her "now that is funny". She muttered under her breath "what a loser".
Friday night we went to Mandalay Bay to do our annual meet and greet. Unfortunately it was a little light because some of the people headed to Vegas late so they wouldn't be in until after midnight. Some of the people in attendance were Evil Matt, Gil, Toni, a bunch of people from Utah, Bink, Angry Dave, El_Jefe, Teabag, Banshee, Bus Driver, Lizzie and Queeg. We ended up drinking over priced drinks but I usually set this up since this is the last place I drank with Ghent I believe. We were supposed to be at the Adult Entertainment Expo is the morning for press registration so we decided to turn in about 1:00am
El_Jefe and I got up butt early and I got dressed in my Pimp Suit. We cabbed it out to the Sands Convention Center and ended up waiting Siviak to see that the press situation would get straightened out. Me and El_Jefe got there at 8:30am and waited for the gang to show. Its was 45 minutes and we still didn't have our press credentials. They are scrutinizing us big time. They asked for video clips from years before and online content. We asked for 10 badges and they said "no way". Ten minutes later, Siviak tells me they would only give us two badges this year because we got too many last year. This got us all mad, especially since Siviak didn't offer the passes to El_Jefe and I to film the con. I was dressed like the idiot and Siviak refused to video the event.
Well there was no resolve here and tickets to the event are $75 -100. So Bink, Jamiegrrrl and I along with the Lost Boys went to breakfast and then Spearmint Rhino. Going to a strip club at 11am on a Saturday was an interesting idea. Drinks are still pricey but the dancers are mostly horrible. Most of the time the time, the stage was empty. One of the guys bought me a dance and the girl's pits were ripe. It was fun nevertheless. Another girl wanted to give me a dance but she was fowl so I told her I just had eggs and I was feeling gassy. At the end I wanted a dance from this girl JoJo. Bink called her over and she sat with us. She drank her champagne and I told her after she was done, I would like a dance. She said ok. Five songs later I asked for the dance, she said ok. Two songs later, I asked again. I never got the dance. We left. Lucky we never had to pay cover.
Later in the evening Bink picked me up from the hotel to head to my party. It was going to be huge. Phil Shane was performing, AVN had an afterparty there, and Faster Pussycat was going to perform.
When I got to the Dive Bar the sign read HAPPY B-DAY TOMMEE PICKLES. I went inside and I saw Phil Shane was already setup and a lot of my friends were setup in the back. Phil started playing at 10:00pm and he was awesome. We did many shots of Hot Damn with Phil and he brought me up on stage once or twice to do the shot. Phils wife was great to talk with and she informed me about the club they are opening in Orange County in 2008. Phil played all of his usual songs and was awesome. The only thing that wasn't altogether good was that Phil was asked to end his set at 12:30am which was 1.5 of the 4 hours I had Phil on contract for. Then, no AVN people showed up, I didn't get any giveaways and Faster Pussycat were really pushy. Next year will be different since this is where I see the bulk of my friends. John Wayne Bobbit showed up, sarcastic wow. Then we left not long after.
We ended up drinking in the lobby of the Excalibur. It pretty much was left to me, El_Jefe and Evil Matt. We drank until everyone dropped off one by one. I think I might have gambled alot... A lot.
Sunday, I was hungover and it ended up being me and Banshee hanging out with each other. Somehow I left my cell phone in Evil Matt's car and no one seemed to get a hold of me. I called for my messages but it was only from the Dive Bar saying they had a card and cake for me. I went down to the bar with Banshee after calling Evil Matt to wait to get my phone. He showed up later and we ended up catching up on the nights events. He left and me and Banshee got some dinner.
Monday I was due to fly out. I got my stuff together and left for the airport. I saw a storm was going right through Dallas and I had a layover in Dallas. I got to the airport and got stuck waiting for my flight. After the flight was an hour late, they stated that connecting flights would be missed. The airline said that we could be put up in a hotel in Dallas or we can change our flights. I called Liz and discussed the options. I decided since I was flying first class, I didn't want to stay in a cheap airport hotel. I changed my flight and called Bink. Bink said I should call his girlfriend Jamiegrrrl and ask to stay there. She picked me up several minutes later.
After I met Jamiegrrrl in the passenger pickup area, we went to get me some cash. All of the Citibank machines I went to gave me issues. I called Citibank and they said I was over the $2000 limit for ATM withdrawals. We went to Dive Bar and I paid them $1000 I owed them back on credit, plus I get miles for credit. NAte asked if I was going to be out later but I didn't think it would be fair to Jamiegrrrl because she had to stay home. Instead I hung out at the house and played with her kids, just as fun.
In the morning I felt sick as a dog. I got a cab to the airport and my flight seemed to be on track. With only minor layover and delay, I was able to make it back with a good first class transit with preflight drinks on the first leg. When I landed in NYC I was supposed to take a Super Shuttle home. I got inside the big blue van with 7 others and I waited. 20 minutes later, we still weren't moving. I got out in a rage and went thought the back of the van looking for my back. I found it and sprinted for the taxi line. $30 or so and I was back home.

Update: still traveling
I am currently in Dallas/Fort Worth. I haven't been here for a long layover before. The airport is large but its a lot of of American Airlines flights here my flight is delayed 10 minutes already, I hope that doesn't signify anything. The only thing that was funny was the Proactive facial medical vending machine. I board here in 30 minutes and can't wait to get home. This has been a long trip.
Its been a hard road home so far
I will have a more complete blog of what happened at the birthdaycon weekend. I was supposed to be homw yesterday but there was a storm blowing through Dallas and I would have been stuck overnight in a hotel there. I instead changed my flight and spent last night in Las Vegas at Bink and Jamiegrrrl 's house. I then got up and grabbed a taxi to the airport. I am sick with a fever and its not helping the trip. I have been waiting to board this aircraft for a while and again, I hate flying. I fly from here at 12:40pm and then from Dallas at 8:00pm. I should be getting home after midnight. I can't wait to see Liz and the rest of my friends.

Flying away...
I was going to sing a song but I forgot the song. I just boarded. I had 1 1/2 doubles before boarding. I should be fine for a little bit. I am fearful but I will keep my thoughts out to people till I get up to 20,000 feet and get to put my headphones on. I am sitting in first class of AA flight to Dallas in seat 5A. No drink service for pre flight so it was a bummer but my carry-on luggage worked just fin. The only thing I didn't bring was my light for the GL1 because the battery was too heavy. I hope I don't need it but if I do maybe Bink has a hookup. I am excited to land in Vegas and drink with my pals. Saturday will be fun hanging with the porn stars. It is my birthday so hope its a good one. I love all my fans and can't wait to see you all. Now I have to store my ego in the overhead bin. See ya.
Today is the start of Birthdaycon
It's early morning right now and I am having trouble sleeping because I think I am excited and nervous about my trip to Vegas. Most people know I do not enjoy flying. I have done it many many times and overseas as well but I just don't enjoy it. I think it's because I enjoy control and I know I have a lack of it. I am catching a first class flight to Dallas and then another one into Vegas.
I talked to El_Jefe and we both realized that we are flying into Vegas within minutes of each other so we can actually share a ride. Lizzie should be flying in with him as well. I got a myspace message from Shawn saying he wanted me to get like five minutes of footage of the Adult Entertainment Expo (AVN) for the show I am going to be on, "Talk Show with Bob Wiltfong". What he probably didn't realize is that we expect to get much more than that.
I spent the evening with Max, Alaina and Liz since it will be almost a week till I see them all again. We ended up eating and having drinks at Jake's Saloon. They make some good seasoned fries for an appetizer and the Mud Cake was a great dessert. Alaina tried asking for candles but I didn't feel like celebrating my birthday in this bar. Later Liz and I headed back to my place and watched a little TV. I had to pack before going to bed and now I am wondering if my bags will make it as carry-on. I guess we shall see.
I don't know how much I will be on the computer this weekend. If something funny happens I might be able to blog about it and I will try to get pictures up. A word to the people who can't make it to Birthdaycon this year, plans are already being set right now for next year.

A birthday, some porn and a lounge singer... oh my
Monday night was a good one. I ended up getting an email from Phlip saying that he wasn't going to perform because that he was sick. It seemed like everyone is getting sick so there was no blame to set. I did later get an email from Vicki saying she would probably make it and later Brandon also responded.
I got to the PIT and went right in. Vicki was already inside and she was ready to name our team for the evening. The funny thing Vicki and I discovered about 4 months ago was that we have the same birthday. So last night we named our team "Thursday is our Birthday". Brandon came in before we went on and said he didn't want to perform but needed a laugh. Vicki and I had two really good scenes and got some deserved laughs. Later we ended up going to the Triple Crown and talked for about two hours.
Today I woke up not feeling too hot, the flu bug might be going around or it was that smell in NYC two days ago. Anyway, I slacked most of the day. I did take out some DV tapes while testing one of my cameras. It was funny that I saw some HOPE 5 footage with John Kozubik saying "I am John Kozubik and drink Stella because I am a flaming homo". It made me laugh. There was also some old footage of me Toastboy and JTX during our script writing for Breaking 3, Supervillans on PCP. That was funny also.
I got a call from Bink and he told me about his schedule for the weekend which fits well with my birthday. That got me excited. He said he could pick me up from the airport. I know there are several people making the party that confirmed that got me in the mood. So far I know there is: Siviak, Eris, Vandal, Gil, El_Jefe, Lizzie, Teabag, Queeq, Banshee. Further than that I do not know.
Tomorrow I hope to feel better. I have an appointment at 4:00pm and I plan on performing later in the eveneing at the PIT. I think Liz and I will do dinner or something since I will be gone for several days. Thursday I have a 2:00pm flight to Vegas and it's cool because I am flying first class. I still have to pack and clean the apartment. Saturday

Hold on for one more day
Wow, things are going just great. Friday night I went to McCormack's to meet up with my monthly geeks. It was a big gathering because One-Ear Rob was going to be in town. It was really cool catching up with folks like Billy and Bobcat. Patty and Joe were there. Rob had his girlfriend Sylvia there. Vince, Verigo, John, Bill, Akira, Max and Alaina were attendance also. We sat at a huge table to eat, drink and talk the night away. Rob brought us all Cuban cigars and t-shirts from all over.
After the get-togethter at McCormack's we headed to Whiskey River where we continued to drink on the smoking patio. It was so funny because as I was sitting outside I saw my friend Jen walking back into the bar. We both were suprised to see each other in such a random bar. We chatted for only a couple minutes because we both had friends in the bar. The geeks and I were all asked back into the bar because it was too late for patio time.
After the bar closed we headed downtown. Billy, Patty and I headed in a cab down to my place. Bobcat and Rob decided to walk. When I got to my place Patty and Billy were going to head to her house. I waited for Bobcat and Rob, we drank and ended the evening then.
Yesterday morning I gave Liz a call to ask her to meet me for brunch. We headed down to Fiddlestix and waited for Max and Alaina. We ate down there but the service was really slow. Afterwards we headed to Alaina's place for a bit. Not having anything else to do and Max and Alaina were going to go to Jesse's party, we headed back to my place. Later we watched a sampler DVD which wasn't that good. We then went to dinner at East of Eighth.
Today Liz and I decided to go get lunch over at Chat and Chew. It was good but I wanted something more brunch like and they ended up running out of home fries at 2:00pm. I then needed somethings for my trip and the home so we headed to Kmart. I found a good duffel bag and then we headed to my hood. We hit Staples and I got some DVD-Rs and then BestBuy for MiniDV tapes and DVD Album. We got back to my place and wound up watching some Keifer Sutherland movie that sucked. I then popped in Bubba Ho-Tep. The movie ended and we had some take-out Chinese food while watching Family Guy.
Tomorrow I have to check FAA regulations for batteries and maybe get a suitcase. I might have to next day some crap to Vegas for the video shoot at AVN. I have to get some laundry done and then see how much crap I am bringing to Vegas. I did get some great offers for free rooms at the Sahara and Sunset station so I am going to call them up to see if I can score a better deal for my trip. I saw that Petty can't make it this year and there is a chance I will see Queeg. I have to see when El_Jefe expects to be in town. Tomorrow I am performing at Improdome at the PIT. Tuesday, I might or might not go to a show of the Nightrats. Wednesday I will be performing at Improdome at the PIT. Thursday I will be flying to celebrate Birthdaycon.

Wow, lots to do and no time to write
Yeah its been a while between blogs. Not too much has been happening. After I got home from the New Years celebration I saw that I broke the screen on my iPod. Tuesday morning I found a service online called iPodResQ.com. You prepay for the fix and they send you a box to ship your iPod overnight. I called them and then I slacked the evening away.
Wednesday I woke up early to the sound of DHL ringing my door buzzer. It was the box for my iPod to be shipped in. I packaged my iPod and called DHL to pick it back up. Later I surfed myspace and posted comments to people I haven't seen in a while. Phlip text'ed me and said that he would be at the PIT before performace. I headed up there and ran into Tim from D.C.. Later Phlip showed up and we performed 5th in the evening lineup. I think we were funny and out transitions were fast. We started with a suggestion of a line from a movie and someone stated "shut down the trash compactors on the detention level"
Yesterday I saw the iPod got to the repair center and it was sent out the same day. I talked with Liz and we were going to go out but she needed to move her car. I decided to meet her at work and ride home with her and then back into the city. When we got back we went to Typhoon which was ok, its like pan-asian with lots of food on the menu. The funny part was the CD they were playing was a Britney Spears with only 3 songs on repeat.
Later we went to Cage Match at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. It was Project Improviser vs. Rueben Williams. Rueben Williams kicked ass, the score was 90 to 20.
I woke up today to the sound of DHL with my iPod. I am happy about that since I am leaving for Vegas next week and I like my iPod for travel. I have plans to go to McCormack's tonight because One Ear Rob is in town and the whole gang will be there. Its also less than one week till Birthdaycon so I am so excited, its like a fire in my pants. I can't wait to spread it all around Vegas.

I want to kick Baby New Year's ass.
I didn't blog yesterday because my head felt like it had no skull, just a gelatin that was holding the brain in place. New Years Eve started as I headed to Revival to say Happy New Year to Alex and any other bar staff. A lot of people were there. U was waiting for Max and Alaina to meet me and then the plan was to head down to Boulevard Tavern.
Max and Alaina showed up with Mike W. and Durnen. We stayed for one drink and said we would head out via the L train.
The L train was crowded but didn't take long to get to our stop. We walked down Graham and got to the bar. It wasn't crowded inside but we saw Gustav and Liz sitting in a booth. It was starting to show itself as a weird evening because me and Liz planned to have the first kiss of the year. Gustav didn't know we were seeing each other and Liz and I kept it secret from him.
Before the ball dropped I was trying to get Liz to break thr news but it didn't look like it was going to happen. Less than a minute till the ball drop and I tell Gustav the news. He left the bar disappointed.
We continued the evening with appearances from Christina, Mike D. And Dave S., but at the same time people were also leaving with drunkness. I ended up staying to the wee hours of the morning. I remember trying to go to brunch with Ingri but everything was closed. She pointed me to the train and I got on.
The next thing I remember is being woken by a transit cop telling me it was the last stop. Not knowing where I was I wounded up on an F train, figuring that this would me to Manhattan I just rode it to the end and wond up at 179th st in Queens. I had to get on the other side and ride it back. I finally got back into the City and at my place at 11:30.
I remember getting a call from Liz and we talked about her coming over bit I guss I didn't remember it fully. She came over and called my cell simce I wasn't answerinvg thr door. I slacked the rest of the evening with her watching Northern Exposure.
Today I am heading to a meeting and then later I expect to slack more. New Years took a bite of me and my birthday is coming up. Me and El_Jefe are going to leave our mark. Tomorrow I am performing at the PIT.
